    1 question did you put pickguard on and airbrush and clear coat it all or or is pickguard not clear coated?

    sorry for bad jokes couldnt help it, anyway i'm in need of some tools and only way i can get them is thur the net ..i need following 1.bandsaw 2.router 3.drill any ideas of some good ones and any tips or rules of thumb would be great.. what size drill bit is used for screw holes normally? oh why do they call it a jointer whats it joining?

    2 question 1.for cutting out a guitar body out piece of wood what is best to use? 2. 20" x 14" x 1-3/4" the normal mesurments for just the body ?

    so i soldier the wires shown,1 from outjack, 1 feom the switch and cap to same spot on vol knob pic helps i think ...green wires and cap all soldier to same spots on vol knob

    i read somewhere it says to put wax in pre-screwed holes on guitar befor painting and to put newspaper in pickup holes /routing zone..is this needed or not

    what clear coat is the best to use on spray painted body? stained,spray ,nitro ,poly...i spray painted that strat body last night came on nice just needs clear coat..

    i was watching tv and they where showing guitars being built but after this guy added clear coats he put the guitar in room it looked like heat lamps all around it ... i have heard a nitro clear coat never really drys would this help it dry a little bit..or what was he doing then

    i need something i can practice painting on and sanding ..a wood that acts like most guitar woods... if i'm way off base here i'm sorry for being stupid...

    ok well my strat body i want to paint bright red ...anyway i have the body sanded and sealed ..so i just need to prim and sand it then 3 or 4 of red coat sanded ,then 4 or 5 coats of clear coat then sand and buff... the primer can i use same stuff at auto car shop ? and will paint and clear coat from there be ok too?

    well 2 things i really need is mask for painting and a good paint gun i was thinking of ones on stew mac are they any good the mask and 150 spray gun ? oh and what compressor should i buy ? got any links to one and what would be some cheap wood that i could by at lumber yard to practice painting and staining on ?

    any ideas ? i'm wanting to put them on my saga tele i painted camo ... oh and i got stratocaster body its basswood its already sanded and sealed what do i need to do if i wanted to use wood varnish, if so what kind or is oil better and after that do i just clear coat like my camo sorry if i'm rambling i got one hell of headache...sick
