  1. uhuhuhuhu...... I shouldn't make posts late at night... I meant: Flat notes don't sound as horrible to the human ear as sharp notes.
  2. yeah, I've heard about that system too! I bet it's about the same as the buzz feiten system.
  3. Well, I don't think it's illegal to know.... As far as I know are the first 3-5 frets a bit sharp. By moving the nut slightly towards the bridge, you'll get position 1-5 in tune and from on there fretted notes become more or less flat. Flat notes don't sound as horrible to the human ear as flat notes. Oh well, I just don't know...just a guess.
  4. Dan, Thanks, but I already read that. It says what it is, but not how it's done....
  5. Although I'm still in doubt what wood to use (swamp ash or alder) for my strat project, I'm planning to use a quilted maple veneer top (1/32" thick). I was wondering if this top will harm the sound qualities of the guitar in any way. Thanks, Coen
  6. Hi all, I heard and read so much about the Buzz Feiten fretting system, but have no clue what it is. From what I understand it's a big secret or something. Anyone who knows more? Coen
