8 string bridges in Gold, Black, and Chrome
and i believe EMG makes the an 8 string...EMG 85? its an active pickup; but you could always just wind your own!
hope this helps!
EDIT: fixed link

ive heard good things about the harbor freight (i cant believe i just said that) HVLP vs some of the more expensive ones. for the money i think that thats a great gun to get.
but FWIW i use cans if you have the money, invest in a spray system
-
thats not true, ill vote for yours
-
nah, i am missing about 1.5 inches of clearance and i use timberwolf i believe the blades are great and the saw has plenty of power if i knew more about modding the saw im sure i could get the clearence i needed hahah
-
FWIW i have the Grizzly G0513X2 17" Band saw and i love it, the only problem is i cant resaw "body blanks"
Grizzly makes quality tools, ive only have one bad experience with a $99 sander and they promptly replaced it. so my vote would be get Grizzly

all my necks have been either all maple or maple with bubinga stringers although it is very articulate i would steer you in the direction of a warmer mahogany or limba

Boggs, i like it! i really like putting my own twist on classic shapes! i think its very classy!

me and some other forum members use a program called ACDsee Canvas
its a mix between a cad and illustrator, that i find extremely user friendly(i picked it up within 2 days of never using it before, no previous cad experience)
when i design a body i take who would be playing into consideration and more or less design a guitar around a persons body, then mess with the design
once im satisfied with a design ill leave it for a few weeks, come back to it, adjust what i dont like anymore and then print it out, transfer it to MDF and then use that as a template for future builds
in the future i would like to model a human body in a 3d cad then work with designs based on that

alright, so i just got back into the shop and got a little work done on this one
the inlays were just roughed out, still final shaping to do on all of them; hehe you can see the hole where i hang the neck in the first picture
and since im broke ive decided instead of spraying a candy burst im just going to do the burst by hand
this one should start progressing fast now that my shops not flooded anymore

im not sure if its the lighting, but the last picture it looks like the fretboard has a terrible dip around the 2nd fret

My vote went to SwedishLuthier for his beautiful burgundy guitar!
That shape is so provocative!, with the purple/Burgundy finish that guitar looks hot
also the trippy inlay on the 12fret and truss rod cover make it even tripper!
Great work everyone!

+1 on the bolt in a tuner hole, just get one that makes it so you have complete clearnece with the string (so it doesnt touch the headstock)

now i wish i had 300 bucks
thats what i just spent on medication:-\

before i fly over there and do something i might regret i would reccomend carving the body wing portion of the heels
-
i would do a very heavy red burst to match that beautiful wood on the back
-
yea; just like that
that looks great man!
-
this is beautiful!
however it would look better if you took care of the very end of the neck blank

i bought a set of "nut files" on ebay a while back
they are just feeler guages with teeth cut into them
you could look into buying feeler guages (the diameter of your strings) and cutting some teeeth and just making your own
-
maybe a little amber in the maple, with some honey overtones
-
i love the shape, i think it flows very nicely, cant wait to see how it looks once everythings trimmed down and the boards on!

you know sometimes i get so consumed in a design i cant see all the flaws
this...is not the best thing i have ever seen in regards to guitar innovation
however...the sustain in your brain....really really should have not been added; but it did make for a good awkward laugh
but then again so did the deleted sex scene from crouching tiger hidden dragon

your going to be hardpressed to find a black stain that looks "black"
they are all going to have hues of blue or purple
-
i usually like to put a little superglue in the slots just to keep it from creeping over time
just a drop in the middle, and 1 on each end. they remove just fine, same as you would any other frets
