sorry, but im not trying to sound like some people on here who ask for an opinion and compltley ignore it. but still, i diddnt ask how to improve it. i think it is well thought out. i wanted to see if people liked it, not for people to tell me what i did wrong.
Constructive criticism is the best kind. You can obviosuly choose to ignore - nor problems there... but it might be points you want to consider on a future build. You seem ambitious and like you want to start making more guitars for other people. If thats the case then other people views on what could be improved become very important... Its like free market research!!!
Good point, well made..................

You could try using a push/pull pot with 250k/500k?? might take some creative wiring but i'm sure its do-able....

Yeah, its a good finishing guide in general, just lots of you seem to be building Blue PRS's at the moment so it seemed relevant...........

All the work looks really good!!
People knock others who build 'copies' or whatever, but in a way i think they can be a far more challenging build, especially for beginners... Sure you can just measure one up and see where everything will go and how it will all fit together, but at the same time, everyone knows how it should look and will home straight in on your mistakes....
This looks like a really good build and i hope it plays well for you at the end!!!!

Cheers guys, I'm thinking about smoothing out the bottom horn, the more i look at it the more i'm tempted to chang it a bit like you say...
The top curl will be a challenge and i'm trying to get hold of some info on violins etc at the minute...
as for the hardware, i'm seriously considering a vibrato but i'm looking at a bigsby of a bit of style if you know what i mean, and i'm only going to have two or three pots, no switch, and have one of the pots blend between the two humbuckers.... (1 = bridge, 10 = neck and then blending in between)
As for the finish, i'm pretty set on the finish being a trans-blue, so it could end up with a flame top but i've gotta think about that as its all about the cash.....
Any more input??

Ok people, so i've been forum watching for a while now and i've got a few designs that i've draw up. Finally got some money and took the plunge and bought myself some wood and a load of hardware.
This is the design o'm going for (roughly) although some details are still up in the air....
Today i took the ash blank and gave it its forst rough cut on a bandsaw at my college, have a look and let me know what you think!!
