Fantastic build !!!
Obviously you've done this before, right ??
Yes, it's my 2nd LP, and 5th guitar build
Is it too heavy ?? I chambered mine for tone, but also because the african mahogany I used was too heavy.yes it is a guitar for real men
around 9 lbs now, i still need to remove wood from control cavity so it will be a little lighter
Maybe I missed. Did you mention what color you're after ??the color will be wine/cherry red, something like that :/

nice build!
is there any specific reason for using a flatsawn neck?
everything seems to going smoothly.
keep up the good work.
Thanx,
neck is a riftsawn

I thought that you would have located the bridge and tailpiece, and drilled holes for their studs, before routing the bridge pickup cavity. That way the bridge pickup is the exact distance away from the saddles that you want it to be. Maybe you just marked for the bridge with a pencil line and located the bridge pickup cavity from there. Obviously, you are a lot more experienced at this than I, but I was just wondering how you went about locating the bridge pickup cavity.
don't worry every thing is marked before

here is the procedure...
one tip and trick on gluing fingerboard to neck:
drill 2 holes (1 mm) on through 1st and last fret slot:

after that put fingerboard on right position with 12" radius block:

after that put 2 small nails, 1 mm through little holes, and remove their heads:

remove fingerboard so nils stay in mahogany:

after that cut nail to 1,5 mm, so you can put fret on slot:

put the glue on neck:

i made myself 1 more 12" radius block so my pressure is same on every inch of fingerboard:
