    Hey yeah, I thought the base would have been routed for neck mortise prior to putting the top on, but I can see from one of the link pictures it wasn't, so I am also interested as to how and why :D

    hehe, i don't know why, it makes no difference when you do neck pocket :D

    this is my 5th guitar, 2nd LP...when you have template you just route B)

    i'm making templates for my next builds ;)

    Hi, i'm back :D

    i'm building LP standard, here is the specification:

    NECK: Arican mahogany + 1 class ebony fingerboard

    BODY: Arican mahogany + bookmatched curly maple top

    Inlay: White Mother Of Pearl

    Pickups: Dimarzio bridge and neck

    Hardware: Gibson Pure (Bridge, Tailpiece, Tuners)

    Binding: 1 ply 0.090" cream on body, and 0.060" cream on neck

    Headstock logo: Alex (MOP) Les Paul MODEL (Silver)

    Hi,

    i have bought it in my country, the name of store is M-Color (Zagreb)

    it is a 2 component poliurethane.

    They have put me a pigment from color chart in lacquer (you can pick color you want)

    this is the site of them:

    i don't know do you have their shop in your country, or lacquers it is a Croatian company,

    Professional poliurethane.
