I was wondering what do you guys think about the Chinese manufactured 170 dollar Starcaster by Fender. (No not the jazz hollow body)

EDIT: One thing I forgot to mention is, why do you guys think that Fender bothered to put a humbucker in the bridge if its a 170 dollar guitar, when the American Deluxe Strat (which has a 1,000 price tag) Has the exact same setup?

Does anyone know if Tele neck covers will fit on the strats coils? I really like that look of a single polished piece, so if anyone knows, it would be much appreciated.

Ok, I think I have decided on the make of the guitar. I'm looking for a Gibson SG style kit, anyone know where to find one of those?

Oh, alright, thanks guys I might want to stay away from the Saga kits then. Are there any other cheaper alturnatives to Warmoth or Carvin?

I've been lurking on this forum for a couple of weeks now, and I have a few questions.

First is what do you guys think of the Saga kits? (such as the Les Paul or Paul Reed Smith)

Second is if they are good how do they compare to other kits? (such as Warmoth)

Third is what are your opinions on EMG pickups?
