Is it possible to make your own truss rod?? If it is, how can I make one?

i'm using polyurethane on my guitar restoration project. in fact, i am going to put my second coat on today. i'll put pics up if i can figure out how to get them on here.

what are some good cheap woods to use for fingerboards?

does it matter what the fingerboard is or is rosewood and ebony the only wood i can use?

I am going to build my first guitar for a summer project. I want it to be neck-thru but i don't know what kind of wood to have for the body, neck and fingerboard. I want it to be as cheap as it can be since it's my first attempt. Any suggestions?

I'm only 16 and I'm new to guitar building. Right now I am rebuilding a busted acoustic guitar that is about 30 years old. Now that I am almost done, I am wanting to build something from scratch. I am thinking something like a explorer, airline, or les paul. Whatever I attempt make, I'll make it from cheap stuff. If my first turns out good I'll invest a little bit more in my second.

The bass I got is a Fender P Bass. I don't know anything about guitar electronics. I don't know what I need besides a pickup and how to hook it up.

I have a friend that refinished guitar and stained the rosewood fretboard black, and it looks sweet. He used black aniline dye. I'm going to do the same thing on an old busted acoustic that I am working on fixing.

I recently bought a bass with no electronics whatsoever. How would I go about getting the stuff for it and hooking it up? I don't have a clue about it.

I recently bought a used P-Bass body and a Peavey neck to make a bass to play in my spare time. It's just the body and neck; no tuning gears, no bridge, no pickguard, no pickups, and no electronics. What kind of parts would be good to put on it and where could I get them. I'm a newbie to this stuff. Any help is appriciated.
