Hi everyone,
Im refinishing my epiphone G400 (the Gibson SG400 copy), and found ive got a bit of a problem with the inserts. ive taken all the hardware off the guitar, but im left with the screw inserts for the tailstock and bridge in the body. they stick out 1.5mm and its gonna be hell if i have to sand round them, and even worse to refinish bea=cause i plan to do a material finish!! any suggestions on how i can remove them, (are they screwed or glued in?), would be greatly appreciated!!!!
Thanks Loads,
JAMES

Hey there again,
im just thinking about how to refinish the neck on my G400, which is fixed. is it best to be careful and work around the fretboard, it is def possible but it will take alot longer?? or is there a better method, ie. take off the fretboard, finish the guitar, and then glue it back on.
Thanks Again,
James
