newbyish question here.
i just got a 60's dearmond soundhole pickup that i want to use on my acoustic but there is no way i am drilling a hole in my martin....so i wanted to switch the existing input jack to a chord with a 1/4 plug. this is a simple change right? any suggestions/ tips?
thanks

yes, the jack is on a short cable from the pickup (meant for attaching to the guitar which i dont want to do). the only concern i had with just plugging it into the existing cable/jack is that it would be causing a lot of stress on those old wires attached to the pickup. im not sure i know what you mean by "using an enclosed jack and plugging a path cord into it"
