Thats not the neck I wanted on the guitar. I had the moses graphite neck but had some issues with it, that will be the neck thats on the guitar when I get it back.
Alinco Pros with a custom shop bridge. neck is a fender bullet that will be replaced.

I like the setch plan.
Keep it the same way and if your in your in. maybe limit one entry person but other than that its hard to fix...

I think there are different rules here in the US. I have worked 2 jobs for "free" where I was learning the job so that was my pay. My buddy who runs a shop has three kids come in weekly from a local college to learn about a small business.
I think it maybe just different rules all of that junk.

I would be in on anything anyone decides. I did some work for him a while back, cut some wood, and he was good to talk to. I would be in for whatever anyone decides. I would put significant cash or work towards it.

We have lost a good one.
Steve was a good man, fair, honest and trustworthy.
He will be missed god bless his family.

The only reason someone would do this if the guitar was stolen... I hope thats not the case.
Bad choice on first test. SEarch ebay for project guitar can find 100's of them out there. no value at all left.... Even if the gutiar was trashed it probably was worth more beat up than the state its in now.

Here is my new shop I am finally done getting everything where it needs to be.
I am still pilling stuff away but show and tell time:
The new dust collector is awesome keeps the garage so clean.

What do you do with the sharp edges on binding after its been scraped?
i have done a couple of guitars with binding and not too sure what to do.
Do you scrape that edge off or use something else to get that razor edge off?
Thanks,
Derek

I am in the process of making a lp tele and someone sent me this....
-
you should have told the complainers to bite it.... You don't mention LP in the title you had a pretty good auction from what I saw. hence why I bid...
-
If you touch it let me know I would rather have it the way it is.

What happened this month... Looked like Mickguard was going to win?

I am building a jazzmaster style guitar and the template I have is different than the plans I have. The template is slightly smaller...
So is the Jazzmaster neck pocket a Strat heel or slightly smaller? I am confused....
thanks,
Derek

I have that stanley overarm router in the basement shop. I do my binding on it and smaller less messy routing. Anything I missed with the big router.
I paid 250 for it. Mine does not have the table like Wayne's that a very nice add on. also most of these are missing the chain and sprockets that move the head up and down.
Go to old woodworking machines to see pics of this as it was sold. I have seen the crop up on ebay from time to time. I wanted to get another one forthe parts.

is that quilted sapele(sp) or quilted maple stained?
Very very nice job! a+
-
yea its hard to spray in a garage that attached to a house. I am working on building a small booth, or something safe.
Naptha clears away all the shavings, and an air compresor does it one better.

I stained it all blue, lotsa blue. Then took some steel wool and sanded it back. Then I applied the turquise(sp). Thats all i did for this one
look up durawoods on ebay, a lot of us buy from him. Thats were 95% of my figured woods come from.
Awesome Fender Video Tour!
