i love the bit in the terms and conditions that says
Entrants release, discharge and hold harmless Sponsor and its affiliates, subsidiaries, and agents, and each other of their respective officers, directors and employees, from any and all claims or damages, including personal injury and/or death -
try www.cadtutor.net
I believe they have a lot of free tutorials. You might be able to figure it out from one of them.

I agree.. its nice to see new things on the market.
Look at this months GOTM. Its got originality, style and class...
I love it.

Yeh. thats the one. Goes on for hours i know, but there's so much creativity in it.
I find a lot of "classical" music is in the understanding. Things often sound better if i know what the composer was getting at, or why things happen. I cant imagine myself writing anything quite that long. Jazz standards usually involve a head and chords (which usually follow the head).
Also as a kind of side track... bring on the wierd and wonderful stuff.

Greetings from Durham.
South Durham to be precise - Barnard Castle.

Also.. lmao Brittish people dont have bad teeth. Not the ones i know at any rate. -
What i noticed when i built my bass was that time and money are inversely proportional to each other...
The more time you spend, the less it potentially costs and vice versa. The more you spend on tools, generally the quicker the project will move along.
I made the big mistake of sacrificing some quality to improve time and cost together.
What im trying to say i guess... is that you could use a lot of sandpaper, but to get good results it would take you a hell of a lot of time. Alternatively you can spend a little money on the right tools and the job will take less time.
Like these guys say.. find a bandsaw or scroll saw to save a lot of time, but if you have the time to spare, you can try a hand saw of some kind.
hope that helps... or at least makes some sense

But do you ever think you'd be able to get a ninja and a pirate to mate successfully?
It would most likely have to be cloned and we all know what that leads to..
Bearded ladies and mice with ears on their backs. Poor little guys.

Thats irony for you lads. I count (quickly it must be added) upto 5 gramatical errors in one sentence, complaining about someone's grammar.
Live and learn...
Never tell someone whose first language is not English, that their English is poor. Chances are its much, much better than yours. I know it's much better than mine. Then again I am from the North of England

im going to be pedantic and point out that not everyone in that list is a classical composer. (romantic, baroque etc.)
also, i find it difficult to pick one out than any other. I voted other. As a personal preferance i would say messaen comes close to best because he wrote the music in a way no-one had ever done before. Its music that has to be understood to be heard.
For piano music, chopin, for "classical jazz" sammy nestico (if messaen can be thought of as classical then dates dont apply).
I think my two fave "classical" pieces of all time are The Planets and the Ring Cycle.

£600 for Sib 3 from their website.
seems a little steep to me
-
true yep.. but funly enough it paved the way for all of our music notation software needs to be answered by the likes of sib.
like said, what annoys me most about sib is the price. Do they not feel they could sell more if they just lowered the price by a few hundred?
-
sorry bout that last effort
clicked on the danged wrong thingumy.
My personal fave is sibelius, but at the price hmmm.
what do you all think?

So many horror stories about Ebay.
I was just wondering how many people have had serious problems with Ebay.
