As usual your artistry is unsurpassed with these inlays. Now If I could only afford a Clavin original with that kind of detail. *Le-sigh*

Hey folks. I have 2 strat style necks up for sale on ebay if you are interested.
They are both brand new and very straight. One is unfinished and the other has a light urethan coat on it.

All I have are some outdated Pentium I & II machines about 3 of them. Will that do for what you want? I probably could scrape together a 486 from the parts in my house. . . . . . . . .

Looks like you came through fairly well Brian.
Best of luck and all for the clean up.

And it will mean even more to him thatn even you will imagine, because he did it himself, with his imagination and his own hands. Plus the fact that his 'mentor' has the confidence and strength of character to see the potential in this little guy's personality.
Many in the world in general can learn a lesson or two from this, but most are blind.
May this bring you much joy and sense of satisfaction that you definitly have made a positive difference in a young boy's life!!!

Personally, I preferred the Union Jack paint job that you did, but the relicing was what you wanted and you are very happy with the results, which ultimately is the best part of it.
It came out the way YOU wanted it and I applaud you for sticking to your ideas!!!
That is what customizing and creating is all about!

The flame maple used in my Dragon body guitar is from Gilmer Woods.

They are very friendly and knowledgable of thier products and the wood sent was the exact wood that was displayed and ordered on the site.

Wow that's on expensive tailpiece...
wouldn't you be cheaper off using this Schaller tailpiece. Looks almost the same, but is 1/3rd of the price
Yes it would have been , but I already had this one from a setup that didn't go through, so just decided to keep it and use it on this one.

Thanks to all for the comps!
Coming from you Wes, that means a great deal!
The body was done with chisels, dremel tool, knife and sandpaper.
Here is the tail piece only it is black chrome;

That dragon's head is what my original concept was going to be but I couldn't seem to get the concept right to my liking so I decided to do this one instead!
The neck joint is a standard 4 bolt strat neck pocket with a 3 degree slant for the bridge.
Will try and get together more pictures as it gets finished out.

Hi folks.
I have been lurking arouind again and watching all of the great new works that have been popping up with Frenzy's tutorial, trials and tribulations of Jehle's V and such that I wanted to get aome feed back on this guitar body:
THe body is entirely flame maple and looking to do a golden teal or blue transparent to it.
LEt me know what you folks think!

25 1/2 scale with a fixed TOM bridge. HAven't decided on the PUPs yet but definitely passive.
Working on the neck to create a dragon 3 X 3 peghead as seen from the top.

P.S. the Dice guitar is in its last coats of clear and will be polished out soon!

I have a spare strat style eletric guitar neck, buit I am with Soap and the others. It prolly wouldn't fit in the neck pocket and if the body is relatively intact. . . .
Though I am not really interested in a base neck.

Just Received
in In Progress and Finished Work
Posted
Received a package on Tuesday from BigD, but last night was finally able to take a look.
It is fantastic!!! He built a new blue Tele body and loaded the electronics for me. The colour and everything else is superb.
As soon as my tele neck comes in (flame maple neck with what I hope will be a nice bird's eye maple fret board), I will try and post some pics .
Thanks much Derek.
Here are some pics from BigD's site of the body. . . . .
