Sorry I took so long.....but here as promised is my finished axe bass
-
Here's the latest on the axe.......he says it's almost finished and that I won't see any more pictures till it's done and he places it in my hands. there will be pictures of that .
-
Well i\ll be... I wasn\t into kiss that much during those tours....mainly because they never came close to my area....So to correct things.. No my bass will not shoot rockets like gene's did, I just hope it growls likes his...gee is my face red Iwould like to get a copy of that bootleg video,if possible
-
Not to sound like a jerk but unless you can show me pictures of his bass doing that , I still say you are wrong. The only guitar that shot rockets that destroyed the pa system was a les Paul handled by the spaceman Ace Frehley.
-
Anybody know where I can find a Punisher bass?
-
That;s Ace's guitar that does that...Gene's just growl and get blood thrown up on them.......
Swedish luthier..Enjoy the concert..and take photos if you can...I'd love to see them again, but I don't think they will coming to my vacinty..
-
Here it is again with a little bit of Windows Paint to sort of get a idea of what it would look like finished
-
This is me in my stage gear
-
And another
-
Here it is the other night when I gave it a test run
-
No your eyes are right.. just a little error that will be fixed soon(if not already).. We gave her a trial run the other night. She's got a long way to go but she has a good bark to her already.
-
With the body being so wide that was the only way I could fit the body on thepiece of wood I had.Once it's painted it won't matter.
-
-
Here's some new ones
-
Thanks.....the pictures were taken using his cell phone...Will be taking some better ones soon...

Hi pschile, I'm not getting anything with that addy.
You need to LEFT click on the image code and a small yellow box will appear that says "copied" then just paste it into your post.
Here's a link for the full tutorial at photobucket;

go to photobucket, create an account. the upload your pics. they copy the "direct link" among other links. then paste them here. to get the image to show up as a pic instead of a link, click the image next to the smiley and inbetween the one with the + sign on your menue when you post, and paste the link in there.

We just finished cutting out the body the other day. No cavities routed out yet, except for the neck. Not bad for our first guitar.... How does one add pictures?
-
Hi eveyone...some time ago I put a add in the classifieds looking for a axe bass. Irecieved a feww answers and one gave me a idea....(If he can do it maybe I can) ...I'm not a bad artist so I sat down and using many pictures of Gene's axe proceeded to draw gene's axe life size. I bought me a plank of wood of the Internet and drew the axe on said wood. The other day my buddy cut it out for me (i don't have a band saw). It lookks not to bad . Will post pictures as soon as I get them

Oh yeah the man is Scot Hembry of Hembry Guitars... check out his site he makes some fantasdtic guitars
-
I decided to phone the man myself today....I had a great conversation about his guitars and when he gave methe price I almost fell off my chair...he will make me a axe copy for $1,000. ,,the punisher goes for alittle more I think he said 12 or 1500 depending of course if you go with the original arrangement..ifyou change things it'll cost more....I'm already saving up my half portion for my axe.....
