  1. My dad and I share a shop, so whenever we need a new tool we each pay half. Pritty nice system I think.

9" bandsaw (got a 14" im trying to fix up, but its missing a few parts)

3 routers (porter cable, craftsman, craftsman) and a table for it, and about 15 different bits.

    10" table saw

    floor drill press

    about 6 drill bit assortments

    chop saw

    tons of hand saws

2 different belt sanders, and 4 stationary tabletop sanders

    professional chissle, and file sets.

    spokeshaft, bench plane, ect..

    jig saw

glueing station, lots of clamps and vices.

as I said, my dad has paid for most of these, but I payed half of the router, bandsaw, and drill press and a few other things

and yes krazy derek, the next thing on my list is a few years of experience, after that, a spray booth and a thickness planer. :D

  2. Hey, I got a set of Jazz pick ups for a bass im building.. but I decided that I would rather use a different kind of pickup (a music man style pickup) so I am selling these actually cheaper than I got them. And I got them used :-P

Ill let them go for 25 bucks, or maybe a trade. FREE SHIPPING!!

    specs:

1 set of passive select (by emg) jazz bass pickups. Used, but in good condition. Ill also send over some schematics for wiring a jazz bass, and if you buy now, ill toss in a FREE POT! (i ordered 1 to many :D )

Select is to EMG, as Squire is to Fender.

PM me and we may be able to work out somthing else.

  3. hey mikestro! i like your avatar, bassstreet right?

I second what skibum has said. On the soap bars, you can get just about anything out of them, but they are usually active, so are most MM bass pickups.

I think the best passive tone is from Jazz pickups, but that my opnion. P's sound real great, but its hard to get different sounds out of them. Not very much tone control with them ive noticed.

  4. Use a tuning fork! You just need to get one, for lets say G. Then tune your G string to that, and relitivily tune to that using 5ths, or harmonics.

thats what I use to do untill I lost mine.

(EDIT) oh, sorry I didnt see that you wanted to use it as a collage project.
