  1. I have looked around the site and forums and didnt have much luck,so I am sorry if this has been asked before.

    I have an older Epiphone guitar that is a strat clone.What im going to do is install a Floyd Trem flush on the body and I need to route for the lock nut shelf.Is there any sites that describes on to do this....pics also would be great.Im mechanically inclined and very comfortable doin this.I have done this before,but it was trial and error,no real help and i wanna make sure i do this right so any help please.;

  2. Hey all, Ive ouwned 1 a few years back and the neck access is great.As for the 2 piece bridge mine did not have one of those so thats all new to me.The body really wasnt well balanced for me...not comfortable to play.Mine had 1 3-way switch and 1 push\pull volume\tone knob...was really a nice and simple setup.As for the pickups that came with it,I thought that they were really weak,threw in some duncans and was alot better.Overall it was a good guitar just not for me.

  3. Ok then if i use the nitro from reranch,how many cans do you think I might need,or what would be the best i could get locally,a body shop around here will cost way too much for me right now,I want the best i can get but keep it inexpensive as possible.

  4. Im thinkinf og using Dupli-colors laquer paint,then clearing with Minwax Polyurethane,is this a bad mix and if so what would best to use for clearing?I know im asking alot of quesions but this is all new to me.Only paints im used to is for custom building model cars.lol.

  5. What kinda effect does anyone think i might get if i shot a basecoat of Chrome and then shot the final coats in a transparent blue.Any Ideas,anyone tried this of have some pics of something similar to this effect? Also has any1 used Duplicolors Metalcast?

  6. OK I have a Ibanez RG 550 that I got complete for a $100 bucks.The paint is all gone but it is a complete guitar.It has a h-s-h pickup configuration,1 volume,1 tone and a 5-way switch.Now what i want to do is do away with the 5-way,tone, and single coil pickup and put 1 push/pull pot and a 3-way toggle kinda like on the Les Pauls.It will be a solid color of a deep blue finish.but what I need to know is exactly how and what to use to fill in these cavaties or give me link to a site that gives a good description of how to do this.And yes ive seen the post on the EVH 5150 guitar but not much of a description on how to do this.I am familiar with fillers and such some what,I build custom plastic models but this is wood I love this guitar I just want it to look good since I have a box full of goodies here....Original Floyd Rose,Duncan jb-4 and Pearly Gates Pickups.PLease help.
