got an idea of the paintjob yet?
-
it'll be fun painting the insides of the legs
-
that is a very.....very......
............VERY niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice lookin axe!!!!!!!!
-
the sanding sealer can be used to flatten the surface if the guitar is grainy
but it's main purpose is to seal the guitar, if moisture from anywhere be it paint or lacquer or anything gets into the wood it could crack
-
no and insults aren't allowed BTW
what do i use guitars for?
i make guitar stands out of them
....but i never seem to have any guitars to put on them ....
-
the dist pedal could still do it, just back off the gain on it
an EQ pedal will work great too
-
looks great
i changed my mind to wakizashi, it fits for me
almost a floral pattern couch??? what inspired you to get that then?
-
that's totally stunning work jer!!
so lush!!!
welcome to the forum shad, very impressive guitar you'll soon have
-

what's the trem gonna be? lopro? edgepro(gasp)?
-
i'll throw this one out there incase you like it... Ansatsu=assasin in Japanese
-
ooohhh that'sa niiiice
lovin the inlay!!!!
you could try the online dictionaries to find out how some of those words sound in other languages, it'd be a little more original and you might find something that's just what you're after
-
i like raptor
but from a business standpoint i'd go with edge, it's catchy, more stylish and caters for a larger crowd, as most musos aren't metallers
i love that you're starting a line!!! imagine if one day we see LGM guitars alongside fender, ibanez...etc
as for the guitar it's nice.......................that's a mighty big horn
-
that is insanely niiiiiiiiiice!!!
-
really nice

I have an ibanez s370. I think this has the licensed by FR logo on it, it's definately a floyd rose copy anyway. It used to stay in tune all the time, and if i don't use the trem it stays in tune for infinity!!!! .
I love it but it doesn't return to the zero point everytime i dive, or pull up on it. It's only 2 years old, the poor guitar must have got a lot of abuse .
Thank you for confirming what I was saying.
The knife edges are worn out
sounds more like the setups gone out of whack
as will happen with any bridge
what type of bridge is it anyway? if it's the inferior trs trem then it's probably expected if it's an edge i guess it could be cos of age, if it's a lopro edge you have a great trem that isn't the problem lol....and i doubt if it's the new ones
-
you don't HAVE to lacquer the neck, lots of people sand the original finish off! to put on just a little tung oil or lemon oil with some cloth...
the nicest playing necks are unfinished ones, but an unfinished neck is prone to going out of tune as moisture in the air can get into and out of the wood
by adding just the slightest layer of tung or lemon oil, or anything you can seal it off enough to stop the moisture
-
i still say lo pro edge if ya want a trem to be in better tune than a OFR, that's how to do it
(just buggin ya litch....but it's true )
it lasts fine too
-
check out the tutorial for modes and intervals thread

w00t what prize did i win? lol
-
yep the ibanez ones don't own the rights that's why they're built differently, but imo they created an even better product which holds tune better and is a sturdier piece of gear(OFRs feel flimsy to me like the crappy trs ibanez trems)
and don't say jemsiter bias
-
if it's not staying in tune it's not setup properly,
or it could be a POS bridge lol
soz rog, but it could be...
-
if it's not staying in tune it's not setup properly,
there's plenty of tuts on the net about setting up every kind of floyd
i can go for weeks without tuning, and even then only need very fine adjustment
once the strings are stretched in, that's how perfect the tuning should stay

cool, you know if your still going for the spidy head on the headstock you could use a scan from the movie posters and get half the face on there,
you know the pics which have half the face and a reflection of the city in the shiny eye thing?
...if u can find one the right size anyway
and you could take the pic to a decal shop to get one made for you if you wanted
