I don't think I'm gonna have a tone. I ripped 'em out of my current guitar. To me, it sounds better with out it. So i probably won't. (Plus i save a couple bucks by not buying a tone pot, or knob )But that sounds like a good idea if i did have a tone

you can just select all of the lines and such in TurboCAD, and paste them directally in to paint or whatever. But it is alot smaller, and you lose lots of quality. I'll look some more.

I just fit is as best as i can in to the CAD window, then hit the "Print Scrn" button on my keyboard. Then I put it in paint. You lose some quality, but not alot. P.S. I think we should re-name this thread "Super-hero Guitars"

I was thinking of doing the metal flake/ gold thing, but i couldn't get it on there. I already have the neck, but i have to mod the headstock to be the one in the plans. Dude, I Have to do the 'Bat Signal' on the headstock. Excellent idea. I was thinking of inlaying the batman logo with gold mother of pearl for the bat, and green abalone for the ring around it. then out of between the horns on the headstock, that's where the the light will come out of. Or maybe, i won't inlay the logo, and just make that have the yellow LED in it. The second one will probably be easier, cause i would have to get a lens with the bat logo on it, so most likley the second. I think that Gold hardware would accent the black body more. If it was black, it would just blend in. I alos like the idea for the pickups. I was thinking of doing somthing like the Voodoo series of guitars from gibson. Do one bobbin yellow, the other black. Here is an idea of the finish i'm gonna put on it. The Hardware is going to be gold, not chrome. Any other ideas would be most appreciated.

here are the CAD drawings of the full body and the new headstock, much better looking, I think. The Spiderman idea sounds cool, I've seen the Gibson Spiderman LP, I think the Spider body would be much better. Post some sketches!

I think that design is way better than either of mine, by a long shot. I think i'm gonna use that one. Thanks for the idea.

i don't know if i can or not, you'd have to ask one of the administrators or somthing.

i changed the body shape, and saved it as the same file name, so the new one is where the old one was. you can put the image in a CAD file, but it'll just be an image. if you want a really good view of it, you'd have to have the actual CAD file

Here is the new body, and the headstock with the batman logo. I think it's better looking with the logo. and the whole thing looks good when you see it all together. Im thinking about doing the batman logo as an inlay, instead of airbrushing it. (if this looks framiliar, i kinda modified the flying v blueprints off of guitarbuild.com )

Yeah, I was thinking about doing somthing like the V. But most likley not exactally like the one i put up. And about the controls. I'm either gonna do the other one I put up, or 2 humbuckers, 3 way selector, and only a mater volume. Cause like Eddie Van Halen once said, "I don't know anybody who uses those damn tone knobs, on a guitar anyway."

Yeah, I was thinking, 2 humbuckers, Master volume, and Master tome, 3 way pickup selector switch. but no pickup splitting. I don't really like the sound of single coil pickups. so i don't want that.

you could put the image in to a free image hosting site, (photobucket.com, picturetrail.com) and the you copy the URL of the pic in to the image tag.

I'll probaby use somthing like the 2nd body i put up, it'll be a Flying V type headstock, so if you can find the dimensions of that, it'll work.

maybe, or i could do a little design on the back of the headstock, i know a guy whos pretty good at airbrushing, so i might just do that.

hey russian, could you do a quick drawing on paint or somthing? cause i don't know know how i would make it non-symmetric. Maybe it's late or somthing, i dunno. I would be most thankful if you (or anyone for that matter) could halp me. (I'm not that creative. ) Monkey - Awesome Idea, I think i will paint it black and yellow, with gold hardware and stuff. You are right. when you play it (sitting down) it might not be very comfortable. So I might rework it, or I might just comeup with somthing new. Sounds like a late night to me. oh well. i'll be back. P.S. I want it to kind of look like a bat if anyone has any ideas.
