hardtail bridge, 3 single coil, 5 way switch, one volume, two tone knobs, basically everything is the same as a strat except its a hard tail bridge.

Its got some chips and scratches in the body's finish, the nut has a chip in it, but stings are still held in without trouble. Its very light. It would be great for a first guitar for someone, or maybe even a rebuild/refinish project.

I've also ghot a Gorilla TC-65, its a solid state 65 watt amp.

Features:

volume, reverb, high, mid, and bass controls. It's got one ten inch speaker.

I use whatever I find, I don't have a set brand, I've used elixir, ghs boomers, dmr, gibson britewires, and the ones I've noticed that go muddy the fastest so far are the gibsons. They just arent alive as much as the others after about 2-3 weeks.

the neck blank I'm getting for the delay is mahognay and it should be enough to make 2 necks, but I'm not using that on this project, this is going to be a purpleheart, ebony, and flamed maple laminate. By the way does anyone know the normal thickness for an RR? I'm estimating somewhere between 1.5 and 1.75 inches, but I'm not sure.

I got a peice of soft maple buth avent used it yet, I'm laminating it with ebony and purpleheart so I'm not worried about the hardness, I've also heard it might ocntribute to some mud in your tone, but since I'm laminating it with purpleheart and ebony, I'm not worried about that either.

thats killer dude, i so wish i had the artistic ablity to do stuff like that. as for the price, i would go for atleast 100 CAD.

another reason for string breakage is if you change the tuning a lot, from like standard to d, or drop c, stuff like that makes ur strings pretty muddy, if not breaking them. Atleast I've noticed that on my guitars.

man guys, i just got some mahognay from this guy and it is killer, it was hard for me to find some good stuff at a good price since my guitar is a RR and its bigger than other guitars, but he customized the size it for like 2 dollars more than normal, and it kicks ass. thanks man.

Okay so I just got my body blank yestarday and it was well worth the wait (and because of the wait I'm getting free neck lumber also). I cut out the body shape today and I might take pics tonight. Man I'm glad I finally got this started.

I also just came up with another idea, what if you got two smaller size amps and ran each for a different channel into two different cabinets, like left and right amps. that would be pretty cool.

they were refferring to the first fingerboard that was already glued to the neck and partially fretted, apparently thats a different board.

if the crate has an effects loop you might be able use the crates effect out into the marshalls effect return. this would be in effect be using the preamp from the marshall, then the preamp from the crate, then the power amp from the marshall.

For the cost of materials? dude thats 80+shipping, adhesive, carpet and plywood for 2 Pa speakers at 510w total. Tell me how for the cost of materials I would be better off buying my own. Labor's not an issue I love doing this kind of stuff. Also, how am I guessing at things, I'm asking you guys if stuff will work and you automatically assume I'm buying it? If there's a problem with what I'm doing point it out instead of telling me to go research, this is part of my research.

hey guys, I complete forgot about building our own cabinets which would be very helpful in a situation like this. my questions are these:

are subwoofers needed if the woofers you are using have low enough frequency response?
