SarĂ una traduzione di Project Guitar o un sito a parte?

Brian, your guitar is great.
If it only wasn't an ibanez... OPS .
-
You should try to buy it from woodyards. StewMac and Warmoth are too expensive.
Weezerboy:

The first guitar that I built (the one that I have in my sign) is called "Lucretia".
The one that I'm building will be called "Messalina".
-
Hahaha, benvenuto MurphC.
Da dove stai prendendo il legno?
-
Chuck only had a DiMarzio X2N as bridge pick-up.
And a Tune-O-Matic bridge.
I don't like the Stealth anyway.
-
Mozart.
He was quite a genius.

I think you'll have a hard time to make that guitar playable.....
The first guitar I made plays, so anyone's first guitar should play
He's only 14 and I would have at least lost a finger doing that at 14.
And if this one doesn't play... his second one surely will.

i knew someone was going to bring that up, doesn't james play that one old school with all downstrokes? i seem to remember more then one person saying that but i could be wrong
Yes, Jaymz plays that only with downstrokes.
If you don't play it that way, it will never sound as good as the original.

but kudos for posting it..that little amp sounds like suicidal tendancies' debut album, hehe
Well, it actually reminds me of "Join the army"

There are some Jackson and Charvel guitars similar to yours.
There should be a regular nut near the fretboard. I can't understand why they did it that way...
-
What do you mean?
Well, the only difference I can think is that a fretless bass needs no fretwork...
If you are asking if it's easyer to build a bass rather than a guitar, from my very little experience there's no big difference.

BELLISSIMO ! great work
Sottoscrivo...
I'm drooling
-
One guitar and one bass, and I'm making three other guitars.

Try to do something like this
--------------------------------------------------------
-------4--6---------5-7-------------------------------
-----4------6-----5-----7-----------------------------
---4----------6-5---------7---------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------
On every string, using the index finger for the first three notes, the ring finger for the second grup of three notes, the middle finger for the other three and the pinky finger for the last
Follow LGM advices, start at a low speed.
When you're doing it clean and correctly, increase the speed.
Then there's this other exercise
i m i r p r
--------4---6-------------------------------------------
----5-----------7---------------------------------------
-4-----------------6-------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------
These are only for warming up and start to learn the tecnique.

So, if Fender is trademarking strat and tele...
A guitar like, for example, Ibanez RG is considered a violation of that trademark?
-
It depends. On Washburn Dime 3 guitars, for example, you can't see the joint.
But on Gibson's guitars, you can see where the neck joins the body.
Do whatever makes you feel comfortable...
-
Found on a search engine.
It was Project Guitar that made me consider (and helped me) to build my first guitar.
-
Malmsteen.
-
Half-Life rules.

Finishing two "super-strat" neck-through guitars
Finishing the neck-through Dime-Bass for a friend of mine (it's a bass shaped like Washburn Dime guitars)
Making a 6 string neck-through V. (Did I mention I love neck-throughs??)
Making a neck for a strat-like body I own...
Then, this summer:
Making an Explorer guitar for a friend of mine
Making a Warlock bass for another friend...
-
notice the wood filler from covering up my mistakes
Oh, don't worry about that... If some day I'll decide to strip my first homemade guitar, ya'll know what I mean...

Ozzy - Killer of Giants, Crazy Train, Mama I'm coming home, Mr. Crowley
Iron Maiden - Remember Tomorrow, Rainmaker (from their last album), Prowler
Metallica - Metal Militia, Damage Inc., Some kind of Monster, Sanitarium

I feel that this will be a great guitar.
