  1. Well, wow its been a long time since ive updated anything on this.Of course not a whole lot of progrss has been done, dont you hate when you dont have enough time to do anything at all?? Well im finally updating what i have, infact im gonna say just everything that is done cause all of you have prolly forgot whats going on by now.

Jem body = done, except tummy curve (doing this tomarrow)

Jem neck = done, just needs sanding

Jem Fretboard = leds installed, binding on, just needs to be sand down to match (tomarrow)

V body = Done, needs minor work done on the electronics cavity (doing tomarrow)

V fretboard = done, leds installed, binding on, just needs to be sand down to match (tomarrow)

So i i just have some minor things to do, im going to be doing a lot this weekend cause i have the whole weekend off, :D for once in my life lol. So im deicating my weeked to finishing up and as much of these projects as possible. Ill keep you guys updated.

  2. sweet christ, i didnt mean to start this much of a contraversie. I was just gonna do the les paul for one, im gonna do a serious les paul with mohogany for neck and back, was just curious what the sound would be of an all maple and if the look would be appealing. I have a hard time seeing things till they are totally built.

  3. Just curious if anyone has ever seen an All Maple Les Paul? Im gonna make a les paul for my next project just wondering what everyone would think of one. It would be

    Ultra curly maple top

    Semi curly maple body

    Ultra curly maple neck

Opinions? Yes? No? Also anyone got an idea what kinda tone would come out of the thing?

  4. I definitely want some pics!!! I wanna build a les paul and if i could get figured mohog and maple for that price im definitely ordering from them. I ordered from macbeth down in san fran and the dude on the phone said "well we have some really nice figured curly maple" so i got it and it wasnt hardle figured at all.... I was very upset.

  5. I have both my necks bound and now its time to get rid of the extra. Here is my question, should i use a binding scraper or sandpaper and a fretboard radiusing block? I was gonna use a board and a block becuase i have led's that need to be sanded down and the whole fretboard in general needs to be radiused, but i didnt know if i should scrap the binding first and then go back with sandpaper. If so how sharp should the binding scrapper be, i bought one from stew mac and im not sure if it came sharpened or not (i know i sound like a moron, but im new to binding) if i use sandpaper what grit do i strat and end with?....

    thanks
