nah, he was playing on his amp and it sounded fine, but after about 2 minutes on my tube amp, it started making noises, i had on the distortion btw

its not the reverb type zaps, ive heard those before, and that wasnt it... this was electronics blowing up type sound, which i hope nothing was blowing up...

hahah, ok, dumb idea, i ran my buddies bass through my amp, which is tube. now i was playing it and after a while i heard some funny zapping noises, laser gun noises. im sure it was the tubes because ive ran many a bass amp through other SS amps and never heard that noise... can someone tell me whats happening.

p.s. i know that output transformers have a certain hz they handle and bass guitars have a really low hz...

My girlfriend just bought me a fab tone and daddy o. I'm going to see how well they sound with my rig. I had a fab tone before but it was swiped while tearing down equipment and loading it in the trailer. Funny thing is, no one remembered seeing anyone up by the stage. Oh well it happens. well i got it working, it was getting hot enough to melt, but it just was beading like water and not sticking, but it seemed my tip of my iron need to be tinned

this is pissing me off, nothing is sticking at all, even the the little piece where the springs are on for the tremolo. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok, i wired my guitar up a couple of days ago using a diagram on this one site, forgot the name. i did it for 2 hum, 3way and a volume pot. it didnt work, while i was fiddling around with it, i found it it worked if i had a piece of wire connecting the two tabs on the pot (not ground) but the actual volume control didnt work. i have a dimarzio and a jackson pickup, DM is 4 wire and the jackson is two. please someone draw me out or point me to a diagram that works. i also need help on grounding it right. hopefully have some helpful posts by tomorrow noon. thanks for your help in advance

you only need an f spaced for the bridge pickup, the neck you dont need f spaced (usually)

i had another idea, get balloons full of paint and throw them at the guitar

i had another idea while at my buddies house, put a guitar body on a tree and shoot different colored paintballs at it. it sounds like it would work, but you would need non-biodegradable paintballs. so i think im gonna try it. tell me what you guys think
