  1. Wow, did you notice it took you a whole year to answer my question LOL

haha...no i didn't notice...i don't come in the polling section much....most of the polls are just so trivial...every now and then though for some reason an old one gets thrown to the top,and i reread it

    better late than never,right :DB)

hehehehe a whole year though!!!!! See Men make Women wait too LOL

  2. Hey Russian,

I am in the San Jose area, Campbell to be specific. How about you?

Once a week, the local paper prints a map of all quakes over 2.0 on the SF peninsula and south from Oakland to San Jose. There are usually about 20-30 of them every week, none of which you can feel.

In '89 I was home sick the day of the ball game, sleeping in my room. I remember waking up and thinking "we're having an OH MY GOD!!" My grandmother was in NY watching the pre-game show and the next thing she knows is that it looks like SF is burning down. She, and zillions of other people, were freaked out. I suffered no damages or loss, except for the electricity for about 12 hours. A buddy of mine, who lives in the part of SF that burned down, had a hole knocked in his wall. It's like that.

    Ciao,

    Guitar Ed

I was born in that area, Redwood City California, lived in Cambell til I was 5, were you there around 1970ish when we had that big earthquake??? I remember being out in the front yard and you could see the street rolling and buckling, it was quite a big one.

  3. I will be the first to be honest with you, I listened to all three links, you have got the notes in your mind and remember them but that is all I heard, I dont want to be harsh with you but all I heard was a kid remembering the notes of the songs, you need to develop your sense of feelings, bring it from your heart and soul and feel the song, dont play it. Try your hands at a Classical peice and see what comes from it, maybe tears roll down your face as you play it or laughter comes to you, feelings are hard to explain, they come from deep within you, when you play a rythym, become that rythym, feel it with the emotions it brings to you, it will show in your music, you have the ability to make other people feel emotions through music, that is what makes a good guitar player, one that can make you cry, make you dance, make you feel life through a song, work on the emotion part of it, hey you never know, one day you may make the whole world sing together, now wouldnt that be a great thing, keep working at it.

  4. yeah well i am STILL waiting on that case.the guy at the store says he is waiting on 3 guitars as well from them.apparently esp has the worst reputation in the industry for timelyness(?) (i think i am making up words again).i think instead of the esp jeff hanneman i will go with the rgt 3120.reason #1 :customer service.

Did you get your case yet?????

no...never did...i ended up having to take the guitar up there and pick out a non custom fit case for it,and had to modify it to fit....

and that is not the last problem i have heard of from esp...all the guitar stores in austin complain of horrible service

Wow, did you notice it took you a whole year to answer my question LOL

  5. Thank you for all the wonderful advice, I am still having alot of fun with it, I did find out that I CAN NOT put nylon strings on my Ovation, ah well was worth a try, a guy here at the local music store offered me a cheap little classical guitar with nylon strings for $80.00 canadian, so it came to be around $57.00 US, I told him yes, I dont need anything expensive, just something to sit around the house with, anyway the neck is a good size for my hands especially since I have found alot of tabs that have some great stretching exercises LOL, its so funny going from Heavy Metal to this , I am learning that really all that stuff I played over the years never really got me too far, mind expansion that is, this feels way deeper to me and the sounds that come with it are so feeling and expressive, as if your whole heart and soul comes with the tune.

  6. I started playing some with tabs of Classical Music, doing ok so far, needed a change, anyone here play Classical Guitar?

I got some nylon strings for the sound, I really like the sound and feel of them, I guess I just need a change of style for a while. Any tips tricks, hints would be appreciated.

So far I have Greensleeves and Romance Anonimo memorized, both from unknown authors, it blows my mind that these songs are so great and we dont know who wrote them.

Anyway having alot of fun with it, also it seems to fill my soul with the good vibes here on earth.

I guess after 23 years of playing Rock and Heavy Metal I am finally expanding my mind a bit.

  7. This poll was the gayest thing I have ever seen!

Then its all ok then. Sorry nothing personal just stating facts buddy.

Its F%^king Awesome in Canada and I honestly can see past my nose cause my head is not up my A$$!!! Unlike some people!

    B):D:D:DB):DB)B)B)B):D:D

Get your head out of your ass, I live in the USA and Canada, so I see both sides of it, take a guess where I would rather live.
