  1. Thanks so much. I knew I could count on you all to pull me through this. Scott
  2. Hi all. Does anyone have any tips on dying just the face of a maple headstock without dying the sides? I have a beautiful birdseye strat neck that I want to dye to match the dye on my guitar. Can I just mask as you would with painting? Any help is appreciated. Scott
  3. Try this guy www.the-soundhole.com, his decals are very nice and he does custom work as well. He also lives in NC!
  4. I am in desperate need of a diagram on wiring a push pull with a hum single configuration. Does any one have this? It is for Duncans. Thanks!
  5. I recently broke the neck on my PRS Tremonti SE. I purchased an aftermarket PRS neck and would like to replace the logo with the PRS sig. There was a file to download in a recent topic, but I cannot seem to download it. Does anybody have this file to download? Thank you so much. Scott
  6. Sorry, the logo. I am looking for the 70's one. It is mostly black. I can't find a pic anywhere. Thanks, Scott
  7. You supplied me with a strat template a while back. Well, I finished that one thanks to you, now I have a tele that needs finishing. Do you have a tele template or logo. Thanks so much!!!
  8. Hello, I have always had a crazy 80's wish to do a snakeskin finish on my giutar. Anybody have a clue how, or has anyone done it? Any info would help. I would rather use paint instead of a material finish. Thanks
  9. Hello. I have a Fender refurb I am trying to do, and am in need of the template for the spaghetti logo or some of the logos themselves. Can someone help me please. I have seen them on here before, but they seem to have disappeared. Any help will be appreciated. Email them to davidsgardiner@yahoo.com if you have them. Thank you very much!!!
  10. Hello, I remember a while back that some of you have made a few templates of the Fender Spaghetti logo to share. Can I please have someone send it to me!!! My email is davidsgardiner@yahoo.com Thank you so much!
  11. I used titebond II and 300 lbs on 2 sand bags. Like I said the top looked great until I sprayed the nitrocellulose lacquer. I will take pics and show them when I get a chance.
  12. Hey guys sorry for the late follow up on the veneer thickness question I asked a few days ago. I used Titebond II glue for the veneer. It did not bubble until I added the nitrocellulose to it. I tried to do the heat thing Brian, but it losened the lacquer also. It did not however flatten the veneer. Should I use 1/4" veneer instead. Hell, I'm at a loss. I think I will just remove it and start over. Thanks, Scott
  13. I have added a flame veneer to a guitar top that keeps trying to lift or bubble after I add my nitrocellulose lacquer from StewMac. It may be too thin. It is 1/42" thick (or thin). Can someone tell me what the best thickness is to top a guitar body. Also, what is the best way to get that deep finish. I can't seem to do it with piles of nitrocellulose. Thanks, Scott
  14. Does anyone know where I can get the larger diameter tremolo studs that came in the earlier Charvels. The regular Floyd studs are too small. Thanks, Scott
  15. Can a 25.5", 22 fret neck, be used in place of a 25.5", 24 fret neck.
  16. Thanks Brian. By the way, I am not new to the board. I am actually "espnut", but I lost my old email account that was through my old job, and I cannot remember my old password since I have moved. Thanks for your help as always, Scott
  17. Does anyone know the scale of the Squire Stagemaster neck? I have one that Mars Music made that is 24 frets and came off of the Mars exclusive quilt top Stagemaster non-reversed. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
