Hi everyone. I finally did the wiring to my guitar last night. I grounded the green and bare wire to the back of the pot, and soldered the back wire to the tremolo claw, and did everything else it showed on the diagram, but there is no output.

Hello everone
I am wiring my strat with a single SD invader and need some help. This is the schematic I am looking at http://www.seymourduncan.com/website/suppo...1hum_1vol.html/
It says that the bare and green wires are soldered to the ground. Can I solder them to the backof the volume pot?
The schematic also shows black wire from the pot that needs to be grounded. Can I solder that wire to the tremolo block?
And the last question is the wire that I need to ground from the output jack can I solder that to the back of the volume pot?
If I need to do anything else please tell me.

Hi everyone, I have a quick question.
I won a strat off ebay and it needed a few things fixed. One of the things that I need to correct are the screw holes for the pickgaurd. The pickgaurd and the screw holes do not match, so what kinda tool would I need to drill them out? My dad is a carpenter so he probably has the tool, I just need to know what to use.

I helped my friend install a dimebucker in his guitar and I thought everything was alright. I then noticed that there is a slight buzzing nut when I touch the volume knob or the bridge the buzz goes away. What can be the problem?
