Hi guys, I just discovered this site... very very cool. I'll be enjoying it for quite a while. I thought I'd introduce you to my project guitar as well, a made-from-scratch Les Paul ©. The whole story is on my website so I won't clutter up the bandwidth too much here. Note: Yahoo has pretty strict bandwidth limits, so if it comes up unavailable, just try back a little later.
Thanks for looking and I'll see you around...

I am currently sitting on about 6 board ft. & have a tele body started. Primavera is a great wood to work with . It is sometimes called white mahogany .Moderately heavy (slightly heavier than mahog). It's a little softer than mahog.Has long silky grain. I don't know of anyone who has used p-v on a guitar. mostly used in the 70's as accent trim. If u use p-vI assume it will sound like a mahog. paul, maybea little more bluesy.good luk

If you have a local cabinet shop nearby , take it to them and have them run it through a drum sander .This will elininate the possibility of tearout of the grain and will leave you with a nice smooth finish .
