  1. In a similar pickle - I've just had a JEM in terrible shape dropped off for "complete rebuild". The f/b had a scallop attempt with what looks like a steak knife - so it needs to be replaced. Removed it and the truss rod sprang up in a nice bow. The adjustment nut appears to be secured at the head by a cut washer driven into the neck. 1. Is this factory??? Forgive my lack of Ibanez knowledge 2. If anybody has exact f/b measurements I would appreciate it.
  2. This is a poor shot of a tele that I have been working on for someone who loves to play blues/country but was obsessed with Ace Frehley growing up. Perhaps I can get some more shots up here one day - just throwing this one out for general opinion. Guitar will be finished at the end of the month.
  3. This was my question as well, so I tried it on a couple of pieces of scrap plywood. If you can spray lightly enough - it's not too much of a problem. If you want a more full burst, I have had no problems moving the pushpins in a little more. I also tried heavier pattern and trying to "clean" the pushpin marks, but that looked like $%*#.
  4. I use them frequently. The mixes seem more stable than Krylon and the clear buffs out nicely. Two important notes! 1. Wait at least two weeks to rub it out. I have my bodies hanging in a cage with 2 fans constantly moving air in my garage and it still takes 2-3 weeks, even for acrylic to harden correctly 2. You absolutely cannot use Nitrocellose on top of it UNLESS - you wait about 3 weeks, then add 5-10 coats of varnish-based sealer which will totally change the tonality because by then you'll have about 1/4" of finish on the guitar Been there - done that.
