    the white washed ive seen look just that, a whited wood this esp though is just what ive been dreaming of (finish wise)

    i know this. thats why i buy them and im still not adding up the costs right neck - 450 body - 450 putting it together - 250 (?) paint/finish - 250 hardware/electronics - 240 pickups - 100 = 1740 and thats with me being generous

    does anyone know what the tonal properties of cherry would be on a guitar, and where it would be used? i know acoustics use cherry, but i havnt really seen electric guitar use it

    i saw a really nice artist/sg type body on ebay which had a mix of mahogany and i think koa and purpleheart and CHERRY *drool* really regret not buying

    Also you have to remember that if you want a TOM bridge, you'll need a neck angle. It's doubtful that the seller has done that, you might want to ask. ← nah, floyds going in this one

    okay, cool, thanks guys my luth is good. just didnt wanna bother looking into all the neck options if the body was a no go from the start anyway now im thinkin, why do custom guitars cost 2-4k? if the neck would be max 600, and a body 500ish....not counting hardware, where do all the other fees go?

    okay okay, irregardless of price because thats not even an issue: CAN I GET A NECK BUILT, AND SET IT TO THAT BODY?

    hardware isnt an issue. neither is finishing. this is only concerning the bare-bone neck construction, and its addition to that body

    how much would it cost to get a custom neck made from a luthier? (i already checked warmoth but i wanna know how they compare n stuff) i havnt called my luthier about this yet because i just wanna do some checkin to see if this is realistic the neck would be either maple with black MOP block inlays/ or ebony with white MOP blocks black binding (or white if i chose the ebony board) custom HS and scalloping of the last 6 frets what would something like this typically run me? and if i bought this jackson king v body off ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...ssPageName=WDVW would i be able to get him to set the neck to it? or is that a dumb question

    hah, dont worry, ill be taking it to a pro airbrush guy. ive just never got a definitive answer as to the existance of trans-white before. all the guitar forums ive asked showd me pics of just really light natural guitars or "white washed", but no trans white

    been two months and counting and still no money. i keep trying. at one point the guy threatening to hang up on me and refused to transfer me to his supervisor. on another, after recieving info from them that i had to send all the info to them again, i called and they said there was something insuffient about the pictures (all 12 apparently...) but they couldnt say what cuz they didnt even know. they never sent anyone to check out the damaged goods either, just kept saying they would call me back and each time i called tehy said they would call within a week.. so i got a full formal and legal letter of complaint written up and sent into them all post dated if i have to take them to claims court. they still have not replied to my letters (sent 3 weeks ago) this ones gonna get nasty

    i cant fix it, im waiting to settle my claims with fedex. when they pay me, then it gets fixed. till then, im in limbo.

    to get or not to get...hm.... cuz my main guitar is busted, and my other i dont feel like playin (its a dime culprit and im gonna try to keep it mint for years so it wont see major use) so i need something decent to hold me off for the next bit till im back on my feet

    all i know is that its a Cort guitar that its set neck has maybe a khaler? or is it a floyd? are these any good? from the looks of it its an older modelwould this be any good to get? any help would be appreciated!

    if you're not supposed to stain, then how did you get that trans-blue? (and other trans colors for that matter)
