  1. Alright, I decided to relist and try again. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=7389199012
  2. I never end listings early because of money. I got a few complaints about the guitar being a gibson les paul rip off and pulled the auction. I wasnt sure if that was the right thing to do thought. I just dont want to get into any trouble. I never stated anything about it being a les paul. Can they take legal action? I apologize to all that bid on the item.
  3. Im gunna letting the auction play out before I do anything.
  4. Thanks for the tip Godin. I think I might just do that.
  5. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=7389199012 Im selling my Custom les paul I took on too many projects at once. Let me know if there is anything I need to change in the auction. I will pull it off ebay if anybody here is interested in it.

  8. Hey Will How much does the rosewood neck and honduran mahogany cost? Harrison
  9. They came out pretty good! I guess I was lucky! haha After a little bit of reading, I think I got it. Since my scale length is the old Gibson 24.75 Ill place the treble side @ 24 7/8" and the bass side at 25" Sound good? I thought there was more 2 it! I just wanted to make sure all my calculations were correct and hear it from the masters. Thanks again guys
  10. So with a 23 fret, 24.75 scale length guitar, the bass side should be angled about 24.811" (±0.030") from nut to center of treble-side post. And the Bass side Mounted 1/16"-1/8" further from the nut? Never Mind I got it! Thanks mattia
  11. Wow, thats an awesome calculator Mickguard! Setch: I do not own that book but I have Make your own electric and bass guitar by Dennis Waring and David Raymond. Intonation>>> n 1: rise and fall of the voice pitch [syn: modulation, pitch contour] 2: singing by a soloist of the opening piece of plainsong 3: the act of singing in a monotonous tone [syn: chanting] 4: the production of musical tones (by voice or instrument); especially the exactitude of the pitch relations Do having any good info on the subject setch? I think I have everything figured out now. But Ill do some more reading before cutting.
  12. Is this correct? I have a scale length of 24 3/4. To make sure that my numbers were correct, I divide the scale length by 17.817 which = 1.389. 1.389 is the length from the nut to the first fret. Now the placement of the bridge. It has to be exactly 24 3/4 from the nut right?? Duh.. Now what I dont understand is how to setup up the string saddle with an angle. It throws my numbers off. Why is it set it up this way?(tuning?) How do I figure out how to angle the string saddle on my guitar? Example>> http://repairtech.seesaa.net/Bridge/90j8BE04.PNG Opps sorry mods. Double post.
  13. How can we let them do this???? I tell you what.... I will no longer support any of those companys and organizations. They can go F*** themselfs. YOU HEAR ME!! GO F*** YOURSELF MPA! COM"ON... I take your bullets.
  14. Opps! Now try. I was still writing it. Is this correct? I have a scale length of 24 3/4. 15. Here is yet another guitar build. Hope you enjoy! Specs: Wood Used> Mahogany back and neck with a lightly flamed maple top. Bridge type> TOM Scale Length>24 3/4" Bolt on neck Pickups> SD Pearly Gates Story: Well... There is a lil story behind this guitar. I was ordering wood for my current project when my youngest brother( 10 years old) approached me and asked if I would buy him wood too. "What will you do with it?" I replied "I want to make a guitar like you and the guys on projectguitar!" I laughed a bit and ordered a few extra pieces. Then I gave him my TotallyGuitar Guide and told him to pick out the guitar he wanted. After only 1 hour had passed he came back... with a template and some measurements he drew(Which were very good). and thats how it all started....the saga continues! Here are some pictures: http://usera.imagecave.com/Guitarmaster88/...d/Beggining.JPG http://usera.imagecave.com/Guitarmaster88/...ul_style_Build/
  16. Yes, you can buy the bearing, but you should consider buying a pattern flush trim bit from MLCS, the #6509 is perfect for template routing for pickups, since it's only 1/2" long you won't have such a deep plunge when making your first pass. It's worth the investment. ← Thanks man, that looks like it will work perfectly! I just found a kit for the bearing on the internet, looks like its better to buy the bit.
  17. Now, you need a bearing on the tip in order for it to work right. I have alot of router bits but they dont have the bearing. Do they make kits or something that allows you to add the bearing?
  18. Hey man, I got your Mahogany a few days ago and love it!! This guy has the best mahogany for the best price! Here is some pictures: http://usera.imagecave.com/system/showpict...aul_style_Build
  19. What is the best way to route the pickup pockets? Ive always done them by hand but they have never been straight. Look here>>> http://xb5.xanga.com/aef886502403519281756/b13859659.jpg The treble pickup is a little uneven. Any advice or tips?
  20. Thanks for all the support! I was told it was about 2 1/16" but I just wanted to make sure before I cut too much off.
