I don't have a multimeter to help me check. I highly doubt the pickup could be the culprit as it's fresh out of the box. The black wire is soldered to the pickup selector, is that supposed to be correct?

Here's a picture of it. Hope it gives a better idea.

I based my wiring on this. It was the closest thing to ssh 1 vol 2 tone and 5 way switching. But this diagram doesn't have the coil tap. So i assumed the red and white goes to the coil tap switch, and i soldered them there.
I've heard different manufacturers have got different colour codes so i'm not sure if the ibanez one would work here. Thanks for reading and replying anyway.

Hey guys, i've got some problems with wiring. Here's the scenario.
Strat wiring, with S S H configuration, 5-way switching, plus a mini 2-way on/off coil tap switch.
SD Custom Custom in the bridge. So far, i wired both the white and red together, and soldered them to the coil tap switch. Black to the pickup selector, and green + bare, to ground.
My first experience undoubtly resulted in failure. S-S has no problems, no sound when it came to H.
Anyone? Help would very much be appreciated.

Hi all, i have got myself an Aria Pro II JS series electric with a pretty beaten up neck, and i was thinking of removing it and installing a Stratocaster style neck as a replacement. From the looks of it, the Aria neck profile is thinner than that of a strat. So, my question is, will it fit and still be able to play well? Hope you guys can help me. Thanks.
Cheers
Emmanuel
