Megadeth's not the same now as on firts four albums. But still Dave kicks ass.
Back to the topic - I'm not a fan of Metallica. Well, I liked Master of Puppets, heard Kill'em All four or five times, almost whole Black Album (casette with "limited" 8 songs or something), but I don't consider myself as a fan. And after hearing fragments of Death Magnetic, I can say that it's not Metallica anymore. I couldn't "feel" them in these short samples. The only thing that told me that it IS Metallica was Hettfield's voice (which did not sound as it used to be).
That's all I've wanted to say.

Well, I didn't express correctly.
I want to have something better, but don't know what.
Except pedals (why's that, when in the morning I think even clearer?):
Boss BluesDriver BD-2 (this baby - paradoxally - made me speechless)
some analog delay
Dunlop Cry-Baby Wah
But players' pedalboards tend to maximize their sizes...
Coming back to amps - any awesome sounding tube head with 2-4 channels and 100W.
And a cabinet containing 4 speakers.

Own:
Bukowski Strat - made by luthier, once famous in Poland
MXR Distortion +
Boss TU-8 (AFAIR)
Home made, 15W tube combo
Want:
Gibson Les Paul
Ernie Ball Music Man Silhouette
Framus Camarillo Custom
Gibson Explorer
Jackson RR with strat headstock (maybe 7-string)
Spellcaster (that I'll start working on soon)
Music Man Bass (w/ 5 strings)
No further wishes for pedals or amps.

Well, my name is Mark (often called Vhailor), I'm 17 high school student from Poland. I play guitar for about 4-5 years. I've been watching this board for a while until I decided to register.
My dad was making guitars (along with some guitar amps) as his hobby and made at least one on his own (with little help from experts with wood treatment). I tried to force him to revive his vision of Gibson Explorer (he called it X-plosion and even made it, but using crappy floating bridge) from neck (and headstock) existing along with the body, but we couldn't find time, motivation and ideas for this one.
Two months ago I thought about doing a Tele. And I connected both ideas.
The project is still in planning phase, but I'm going to start it soon and finish before summer 2009 (in consequence of lack of tools to carve the body). Classic Tele body, probably with tune-o-matic bridge, one humbucker and one single coil pick-up, about 22 frets and reversed "sharp" headstock (like here).
I've already named this project - "Spellcaster", because I like fantasy stories and role-playing games.
I play (and mostly listen) to rock and metal music, read a lot of fantasy, war or criminal books and spent a lot of time on the Net.
PS
Sorry for my English - it can be full of mistakes. I'm still learning.

I heard some songs of this album while shuffling through the CDs in the shop today, and I changed my mind a little bit. Some of the riffs there are really good, but overall it sounds sloppy.
Megadeth technically did progress, but musically they've regressed a bit. Nowadays they play a lot unison (or octave lower - bass guitars) stuff. I didnt notice this while listening to Killing Is My Bussiness...
