Cool i am wating to see your work .
I think that the neck is harder to be built then the boby but not to hard .
I built neck through the guitar and it was easy. i think bolts is harder to do because you have to aling everything .
As you can see this is my first project and it looks ok
The only fear i have with this neck is that i will shave to much wood over the trust rod chanel or it will be brake where the glue is because i glued it with 24 hour epoxy and i think i put to much hardner .
I dont know about tops and paint but if you have other qestions just ask .

Yeh it is chubby for now i am still in the progres of making the shape of the neck for now it is 22 mm at nut and 25 at 12 fret . after i will do the shape for the fingerboard put the frets and put strings on it i will know how it fells then i will do the final shaping . I want it like ibanez 19 at nut and 22 at 12 fret .
By the way i like opeth too they are realy great .

Thank you all . this is my first time with real wood .
Till now i built RC planes made of balsa hard wood is new to me .
The neck was cut with Bandsaw .
I want to do a clear finish i thought to use clear auto paint since it makes a very hard shell around the wood. if someone have some better way to do that i am open to suggestions .

Ok .. i understend what you say and i have already considered that since this is my first experience with building a guitar i left plenty of wood spares when i cut the parts so it is easier to work .
But still i dont understand how high should the strings be above the fingerborad
and whether i should to lift the fingerboard above the body . ???
As you know this will effect the angel .
I circled in this zoomed picture of the neck to wing joint .
Thank you for your help .

Thank you guys !!
the guitar plays great it has very powerfull sound with that D sonic picup and lots of sustain i like it
!!METAL MATT!! - the blak inlay at the bridge is ebony sawdust mixed with epoxy .
Pott- the wings were 40X20X5 cm . and there is neck angle but i dont remember the correct number . i drew side view blueprint and found the angle using the bridge height.
i hope you can see the angle in this pic .
