Okay. I have a neck off of an Ibanez RG570 guitar, and a Kramer body. The neck is flat at the end >>>> ______ and the body's pocket is round __
______l __)
That should give you a general idea.
Anyways...
Is there any way to fill in the gap created, and is it safe for the neck to be mounted like that?
Thanks

Oops, sorry. Its a 2001(?) RG570DX, and I'm putting it on the top of the body. The wood in the link just looks so nice.

Im going to put a veneer on my old Ibanez, and I was just wondering if this wood would work, and an explanation of why it wouldn't? Thanks.

I recently purchased an Ibanez RG570 from a pawn shop (120$!), and I'm going to strip the paint and rub some tung oil on it. But I can't get the stupid paint off! I have some paint remover on that's supposed to work on polyurethane or epoxy finishes, but it's not doing a thing. It's been on for at least half and hour and now I am out of ideas (anything but sanding - last resort). Please help!
