  1. I bought an old Kay Guitar off of ebay:

I took it to a luthier and got it converted to lefty (it's a curse). I've recently been toying with the idea of putting a pickup in. Now, I'm not sure that I want an acoustic pickup. I want to throw an electric pickup in. Does anybody have any suggestions for the type of pickup I should put in? I'm thinking about putting in one of these, but I'm not sure how it would sound.

I'm also worried that drilling holes in my guitar might affect the sound.

Sorry this isn't really the most technical question, but I'd love some input.

  2. Hey, I have an Epiphone Sheraton and I've had it for awhile but I feel that the bridge pickup kinda blows. I think I am going to put a GFS Memphis in there. I've never done it before, and I have heard that it's a huge pain in the ass. I just found this video:

but I have heard that it's much harder than that (taking all of the junk out through the f-holes).

Would what the guy is doing in that video work?

  3. I bought an old 1960's airline guitar off Ebay the other day, a sweet deal, and I have only one problem: It is right handed. As a lefty, I am going to have to convert this bad boy. I know I am going to need to switch the bridge, which shouldn't be a problem. The problem is the nut. Can I just hit it loose then turn it around? Or do I have do buy a whole new nut?

    Here's the exact guitar.
