I wouldnt say its much of a grounding issue if it makes sound and plays, i mean it could be and probably is, but its definitely a shielding issue. I've had this problem the first couple builds and after i got my shielding paint it was gone. Id put some shielding paint in the pickup routs and that should go away

yeah i saw that and learned that when it happened. it was small and didnt hit me luckily. ill add that to the video

Ok I came up with this. or would I really need DPDT switches?
Thanks again for all the help everyone

So we have some problems! The neck was literally like 1/16th or so to thin by the neck pickup so the strings would of slipped off if played. So I decided to change this build completely. I thought about this and figured out how to save the body AND the neck.
I removed the fretboard and will remove the frets. I then will shave down the fretboard to compensate for the thickness of a new maple binding I'm adding to the fretboard to make a fretboard thick enough for a 7 STRING!!!
Im pretty excited as This is becoming my new and FIRST 7 string build
Here are the progress shots and a video I made of how to remove the fretboard:
here is the neck and new neck template laying here as I thought about this
heres the new plan. the inner rectangle is the ebony and the outer lines are the binding plan (obviously lol)
I layed out lines where I would like to have the ebony cut and the binding but I think ill keep the binding a little thinner to keep it looking nicer.
so with plan in mind I got out the tools and went to work
Here is a video to show the process of how I remove a fretboard. If you mods want to add it to the tutorial section at the start of the site that would be awesome
Im planning on using bareknuckles and the hipshot tremolo
I just ordered parts for the new build also. Got a fret puller and stuff. I'm pretty stoked.

So I need TWO sets of 3x3 plant waves auto trim tuners in gold.
They are running around 45 bucks online new so for two I'm assuming $90ish bucks.
If you could sell them used to me around $70.. I feel that would be fair/awesome. Thanks guys!

just what the title says :-P
OH i need it in the 6 String version.
I have $72 on it.
Hope someone can help. Thanks!

Ok so I Thought this was done, but I finally finished my headstock
Other than this, I just need to add some more clear and fix some black spots and shes FINALLY DONE haha

Wow these all look great! I LOVE the black one We scallop our frets the same way from 12 on up. I've been doing it since I was barely starting to play and started customizing my bc riches and ibanez Rgs hahaha :-P Could we get more pics on the black and maybe some sound clips? I think the next pickups I wanted were bare knuckles. It'd be nice to hear them
