  1. psw got the right idea. Like a two way toggle killswitch. I just dont have any idea how to wire one. I guess I'll have to look around.
  2. This Might be a stupid question but how do you wire 3 pickups to a three way kill switch. Thanks. Diagram would be nice too.
  3. I think that I'm going to end up doing something like my original design with a bunch a push pots like you suggested. I could install a kill switch were the main toggle would be instead and wire the three minitoggles to turn the three pickups on and off. I'd wire the knobs like I said in my last post but with two push pots on the knobs controling the neck and bridge pickups to coil tap them. No coil tap on the middle though. That would be wierd.
  4. Hmmmmmmmm.....................Maybe I could wire the Bridge and Neck pickups to the same tone and volume pots which would both be 500 than wire the middle to it's own tone a volume which would be 250. Do you think that could work.
  5. I was looking at a Dunlop Dimebag Wah. what do you guy's think about that pedal? Anybody here used one.
  6. I was planning to do a gibson mini humbucker. I decided to do that because about 2 monthes ago I was able to play a Les Paul Deluxe from the 70's with the mini humbuckers I a LOVED the sound. Great crunch, sweet tone.
  7. Im building a les paul type guitar and I was wondering about wwhat type of finish I could put on it. It would be cool to hear your ideas.
  8. The middle pickup volume is going to be wired to the neck. What I was asking was for some ideas for some good wirings becuase there are a bunch of different possible wirings for this config.
  9. I enjoy using a 13 degree. It seem to put the strings in place nicely and I've never had any problem with it.
  10. As we all know christmas is coming around pretty fast and I'm thinking about asking for a Wah Pedal. Can anybody give their opinions of different Wah Pedals. I was thinking about something from Dunlop
  11. I'm building a guitar right now and i want to put the most versatile humbuckers in it. I tested many different pickups from all kinds of different brands and i choose two seymour duncans. I choose a Full Shred for the bridge, and a Alnico Pro II for the neck. The sounded great together. I play mostly metal and classic Rock so these two pickups were pefect for me. Also the output of thee full shred is high put not too high so it doesn't take away any tone or volume from the Alnico Pro II.
  12. I'm building a custom Les Paul type guitar, and I need someone to do a Bullion gold Finish for less than the crazy prices of other more professional Finishing companys. Now done get me wrong I will pay of course. it's just I don't want to pay upwards of $700 for Finish. And also, it would be great to find someone to do a nice neck finish for a set neck. Thanks.
  13. Im making a Les Paul type guitar with a cool pick configuration and switches and I need some help with what kind of wiring I might need. It will have two full sized humbuckeris in the bridge and neck and a mini humbucker in the middle. I would have two volumes, two tones, three miniswitches, and one big toggle switch in the top corner of the guitar. one out of the two tones would be connected to the neck and the middle pickup and the other just to the bridge, with the same type of setup for the two volume knobs. the big toggle switch would control the neck and bridge pickups like on a normal Les Paul. The first mini switch would turn the middle pickup on and off. the second mini switch would coil tap the bridge pickup and the third mini switch would coil tap the neck pickup. I know it sounds complicated but I nave to ask, does anyboby with more experience then me have any good ideas?
  14. Me again. Also it would be great to find a guy to do a Bullion Gold top finish for my Les Paul. Thanks.

Now done get me wrong I will pay of course. it's just I don't want to pay upwards of $700 for some inlays. And also, it would be great to find someone to do a nice neck finish for a set neck. Thanks.
