Gorgeous burl twins... the bass is great. That could be (not entirely...) one of the ugliest headstocks I have ever seen.

I really like the body shape on the guitars. What is the middle layer?

May I ask were you got the burl?

I have to admit I am not exactly happy with the headstock design.

I underestimated how hard it is to come up with a unique apealing look. I will keep trying.

The Body is Mahagony with Gaboon ebony and Maple stripes with buckeye top.

First post here been lurking for quite sometime. also frequent Talkbass as well.

These have been in progress for way too long almost 3yrs now.

During that time I moved and had to completely tear down and reassemble my shop of course the shop is still not finished but at least I have my guitar building mojo back I seemed to have lost it for awhile.

They are in the final spraying stage and hopefully final sand and buff next week.

I had a major router mistake on the pickups for the bass that is what started the losing focus. I have accepted this flaw and found a suitable coverup I may do pickup covers and reroute at sometime later as I think the pickup rings look cheesy.
