    Would you recommend a scarf joint with this oily wood?? and if yes with what glue???normal Titebond or sfould i trust epoxy???

    really???????????i did not know it! to be honest i will try to keep the wood..raw and not chemical treatment... but if i oil it ...i must repeat the same procedure in how much time?? if i put tung oil and carnauba wax for example??

    I think this way , Prostheta!! i have True oil,Linseed Oil ,and Tung oil.And from waxes i have Carnaba....i need the magical recipe to combine them ,and not just to throw them over ... But my big question is :is oil enough for a neck throught time to protect it from all bad factors???

    I want to achive a very satin /matt finish in a cocobolo neck...What is the best solution for this??naturally or chemically?? The wood is oily and have never worked with this for finishing,so it must be very hard to be finished... So should i use an oily mixture or go on with poly ??

    hehe you guys are crazy !!hehehe and i love it!! so a clinet asked me something that i confess i have no idea about it..... He not olny wants strong midrange tone...he wants CLEAR midrange tone in his guitar.. how the hell cani do it?i suppose Prostheta is correct...Russian roulette... i dont even believe that someone can controll it with woods only.... any opinios??? ps:we do drink too much beer here in Greece....and coffee!!!! summer is on the way!!

    well would you suggest mahogany for body and wenge for neck ?The tone i want to achieve is a tight low end and very strong /clear mid range... perhaps i think that the mist crucial part are the pick ups....

    I am actually planning a guitar Prs style with mahogany body.And i want to achieve a balance with the warm mahogahy and and something else...Do you think wenge would manage to do it?And with what fretboad?? the woods i have for neck as alternatives for wenge are padauk,mahogany,maple,rosewood,

    ι have seen guitar being "destroyed" by "wrong" finishes...very nice job man! by the way i always had this question: how do you hold the pickup in the cavity when there is no ring?? basically how do you set up /dοwn the pick up??

    Forgive me guys but my knowledge in electronics is very small...I have a friend who has bought 2 Gibson humbuckers with only 2 wires...and cannot split... His question is if he can make a "surgery"and covert this NON SPLIT HUMBUCKER to a capable one... I would appreciate any help..The answer NO is also acceptable ....

    I have a problem...I am building a tele and the top is 1.4 thick.. flat... In an area in the corner i have cut a shape of baroque style and looks like rosete....It is not generally very sensitive ,and not very detailed but it has in some areas with details... Problem is that i must make this flat top an arch top...and the router must pass half of this area...And i am afraid if it destroyes the most sensitive areas.... So,my thought is to fill the gabs with sometthins strong which holds the wood in place of the most sensitive parts and after finishing,i can remove it..... So my question is WHAT?? besides this i ask if somebody has done it....It is not a simpe f hole for example but something more complicated.... i would appreciate your opinion guys

    Hi! i am planing my new telecaster but i have a problem with electronics,I don't like 5 way switches in Tele so i want to make with 3 way and a mini switch on/on/on the same as this diagram...can anyone help me?

    I have a problem....I have a rosewood piece for tele body but it is 3cm thick....so i must add another 1.4-1.5 cm of wood....in order to have this tele....but...WHAT? 1 have ,basswood,maple,cherry,walnut,olive,..... what do you suggest??any other wood?? i want a sonic balance....so rosewood is warm....and if i add maple perhaps will it.....sound worse?? also....another thing...if i add it..it will be very unusual a tele with 1,5 top ...not arch top!!! would you suggest paint it all white??? i have in mind a BAROQUE concept in style... thank you in advance!!
