the problem with that is your pickgaurd is still gonna be upside down

Yeah I was thinking of just not having a pickguard on it

On my Ibanez SA260 FML the coil tap has become detached meaning that when i pull it, instead of just raising, it just comes out completely

anyone know how to fix this?

why not just make a left handed body, pickgaurd, and trem and make it a lefty.

Thats what I plan to do, But I need some help concerning the shape of the body as im not sure what shape i can really make it, I am currently thinking of just sanding down the curve at the top to match the other side similar to the horns on an SG

I just found this forum and believe it will be perfect for me to get some advice and help on my project i am currently working on

As a left handed guitarist, It is very hard to find the perfect guitar as you are given a very limited choice, to start with i bought a second hand strat off my mate that was right-handed and simply just strung it left-handed

Now its a couple of years onwards and i have a very beat up guitar that has not been played in a year or so.

so I have decided to try and make a new guitar using mainly the pieces from this guitar and new ones i need to get

The guitar is a 20th anniversary Squire bullet Strat in red

I plan to make the body more left handed friendly, mainly by sanding down the body

Bear in mind i am only 17 with only school level DT skills so my budget and experience isn't great

So far, I have dismantled the guitar into pieces
