Anyone out there could find some sound samples of these full composite acoustics? I can't get 'em out of my mind lol.

I've found some clips on the CA site, very interesting, harsh and assertive sound with a lots of treble. Maybe because composite doesn't damp anything that wood does. Somehow I feel it similar to maple sided and backed acoustics.

Is lacewood stiff enough for neck? 'Cause if mahogany is okay...

Yes, what's the frequency curve of that kind of signal, what about its voltage and what's the best way to (pre)amplify it?

It is African cherry, Janka hardness quite similar to black cherry. Don't know... stiff enough to emphasize the upper midrange, isn't it? I bet its sound is close to maple's sound, therefore it would be nice to use as a top.

Yea, this way you could make something like the first Strats had (only bridge, middle or neck positions), without the in-between switch positions of the 5-way toggle.

I'm gonna be nasty now: play clean and you'll be able to play all those beefy chords, major 7's, 13's, 6/9's... mmmhh, jazzy colors I mean. No, not needed; everything you play is you, whatever you play. I got used to these jazz kinda barre thingies, that may fit together with EVERY style of music from moody pop to blues (remember those dominant 9's that Stevie Ray used?). I just wanted to say, it's boring to listen those power chords all the time, though they do have their own function and they could be exciting when they're not overused.

Dunno but there's not too much walnut bodied guitars out there. I know even Fender made some walnut Strats in the early '80's, but this wood doesn't seem to be as popular as other species. Or is it just the weight? (Though you mentioned that your guitar was chambered, lol.)
