people need organization in their lives and sub-genres do just that

sub-categories of metal are my pet peeve...thrash,death,hardcore,and glam pretty much describe everything out there that is really metal..

ok then mr smarty pants which of your 4 metal genres do bands like Korpiklanni go into? They have metal guitar AND traditional nordic folk instruments

Sub-Sub genre's are a little pointless but some bands just don't fit the 'old' genres. Personally I'd split metal down to: Thrash, Death, Black, Doom, Hardcore, Glam/Hair, American Industrial (like the newer Fear Factory type of sound), European Industrial (Rammstein type sound), Folk Metal (Korpiklanni and the likes), Battle metal (Turisas and that sort of thing), Power Metal (Nightwish, Within Temptation ect.), Prog Metal (Opeth), Cheese metal (Dragonforce ).......

oh and I know I've missed someone out

oh and has anyone else heard of Goth Rock or is it just me? Where do Fields of the Nephilim fans put their vote?

so here i have from my les paul copy

Mighty Mite Motherbucker in white for the neck (plenty of lead)

Dimarzio Super Distortion in cream for the bridge. (plenty of lead)

Mighty Mite 3x3 Tuners with built in string winders in chrome (installed only on one guitar and had one set of strings through them for only a couple of weeks)

motherbucker was bought used on ebay a while ago, not sure how old it is.

tuners were bought on ebay brand new but i dont have the package any more

dimarzio pickup was bought brand new at guitar center.

50 for both pickups, 20 for the tuners

ill take pictures later tonight when i get my camera back.

yeah, i was planning on getting the wilkinson "upgrade" from them. anyway, theres 6 screws and i think its like 10.5mm between each one

then i have one. a kvm switch is a box that you can hook up a bunch of computers to and use them through one monitor. in the case of this kvm switch, its 8 computers. i dont know the brand, it just says emulation on the front. i searched for emulation kvm switch and didnt find anything. heres the pictures...

i dont know how much i want for it, make me an offer... or a trade. im looking for a fuzz pedal or a small stone phaser

ps. it comes with a 10 foot cable that has vga attachments on each end and mouse/keyboard on each end too.

i have this strat body, i know for a fact it isnt a fender, but id like to put a fender usa trem on it. so my question is... what exactly is going to need to be done to convert it? all help is extremely appreciated

just make sure its setup really good. almost every new epiphone or gibson ive played at a guitar store plays horrible.

hey, thanks for the reply, but i dont have access to a pillar drill :-/ and if i were to drill a bigger hole and then glue in a dowel, youd be able to see it since the paint job is a cherry sunburst. is there anything else i can do? like fill the hole with epoxy and stick the posts in (without the screws in, of course)

so i bought this new bridge to replace my old one and the posts were bigger than the holes... so i drilled it a bit more and i drilled the hole a little too big, just enough to where the posts are kind of wobbly. so what is the best thing i can do to fix this? all help is appreciated
