All the neck measurements are off that exactly. No changes what so ever

Suh-weet! A few questions:
1. Why no control knobs?
2. Is that the way the Mighty Mite bridge is "supposed" to look, with the saddles at that high of an angle?
3. How do you like the MM bridge? I was considering getting one.
And now one comment:
That's a friggin' nice job. I wonder what it'll look like in natural light!
1. They didnt show up yet, they are gold knurled knobs
2. I actually set the neck the same hieght as fender standards, so yes. But it actually helps having that at that angle, it is easier to palm mute.
3. This one is a mighty mite. Everything was actually really nice quality other than the screws. I replaced those.
About the lighting, this is actually pretty close. The reason it seems dark is because with the flash on, all you saw was this orange colored blob. I did use a flash because it shows the TRUE color alot better.

OK so what i was going to do is mask off the inside of the wood and laquer the binding to seal it. But then i was going to dye it black then sand back and restain it red.
Now the problem is that i am worried that when i do the sand back i will go through the laquer and then when i restain the red will shed into the binding.
Will it happen?
I dont know ive never finished anything like so, yah.

I like the idea of a Te-Les-Caster. The shape is good. The f-hole is a little too traditional, for me. I like the more stylized version on Manzers, Ribbeckes, and Monteleones.
Thoughts:
Lots of D'Angelico and D'Aquisto styling cues there ... not sure who their influences were ... don't see how it ties in to the Lesocaster (unless it's going to be Less-a-caster ).
I keep coming back to this:
its like a gretchocaster

nice spalt
you look like you got some leveling to do on that finish though. That is the fun part huh.

I just order a warmoth neck and it is going to take about a month and a half to get here so i have some time, but:
How do you all make you templates?
Accurate templates.
I was thinking of masonite and cutting on a scroll saw but i dont think that would hold a bit well or even cut out that accurate.
Ideas, tips and pointers welcome?

Any preference as to fretboard wood, manufacturer, etc.? If not, I can get you fixed right up for, say, $165. Plus shipping, of course.
no mighty might stuff.
Warmoth maybe.
Frets need to be in. Finish optional
Maple board.

Looking very nice! What happened to the whole ebony stripe idea?
i threw it out because it just was fitting with the overall design i want to go for. Just not "the look" for this guitar.

im going to cry,
i just looked at my prs tremonti tribal and tried to envision myself touching with anything more abrasive than a microfiber polishing rag.
Nope, still cant see it happening over in these parts of the woods.

Well, I'm in the shop again and I'm currently working on the P90 covers. I've gotten the neck pickup cover all finished, and now it's time for the bridge P90's cover. One thing that's a little different than normal about these covers is the fact that their grain orientation is not parallel. This is because the grain around this guitar is not oriented in one continuous direction throughout the whole top. Anyhow, I know you guys like to oogle over pics more than you like to read(not that I don't feel the same way), sooo....
The cover alone.
...with the P90 and mounting screws installed.
...and a little something special that should be arriving in the mail in just a few short days.
peace,
russ
sweet covers. really like them

It has been awhile since ive posted. Alright so
stuff i got done:
- Guitar has been cut out
- guitar has been sanded to shape
- guitar has the control cover "recess" chiseled out
- gutiar has the heel section of the guitar routed out for its recess.
Work for the weekend:
- Shape heel area so there is a smooth transition from high to low
- Sand body to free it of most of the tooling marks, burn marks and ugliness.
Work for next week:
- Tummy Contour!!
-Neck Pocket (a little scared here)
Pics will be added tonight because i cant seem to find my digital camera usb cord right now.
Will do though tonight.

No, i just remeasured it all. IT is right.
And i made the body. The bridge is just cast lower. Not a big deal at all.
