pretty much what i want to make for my next project.
How are you planning to do the bevelling? that is really the main thing that has me stumped.

um, just a question, the pins for the wilkinson shouldnt be 10mm, thats bloody huge. i have wilkinson pins on my guitar and they are only 6mm

go to www.guitarelectronics.com for some wiring diagrams. they have everything you will need there

i reckon this is one of the best ways to shape the body, i used a similar technique on my guitar
i very roughly cut the shape using a jigsaw about 10mm from where it needed too be, then attached the template and routed the body to the final shape
this project is coming along really nicely and quickly, can wait to see the finished result

The back section of it looks great, but im not really a fan of the horns, but if u like it mate, GO FOR IT!!!

yeah, it was nowhere near as big as i had expected. but somehow managed to spend half a day there on saturday, and on sunday aswell. the maton guitars thing was interesting, as you said, i wish i was in melbourne aswell

Its gonna be huge mate, i reccomend you go on sunday tho if u wanna go, because thats when the fender superjam is on, and its gonna go off!!!

You could also use a heavy duty vinyl aswell

stunning finish, but dunno bout the headstock, doesnt really suit the design of the guitar. Was it just a refinish, of did u build it aswell?
