You wouldn't happen to have a link to any photos, would you?

Hi, I was just wondering what people used for filling in small holes when it comes to using burl maple as a top wood? Black epoxy? I'm curious, seeing as I'd like to finish mine with that type of top. BTW, I'll be finishing the guitar with a tobacco brown dye. Thanks for any input.

Hey, I was just wondering about Stewart-Mac Micro-Mesh sandpaper kit. Is it useful to sand with that high a grit (grit ranges from 1500 - 12000)? Or is something 2500 good enough?
Thanks,
Robb

Hey, since I'm completely new to this, I thought I would post this question to people who obviously know way more than myself. I'm working on a first custom guitar and need some guidance in the finishing department. I plan on having a tobacco brown stain for the body and was wondering the steps and products needed to achive a glass-like finish. The body is basswood with a quilted maple top, and I know that I should probably use either a grain filler, but more than likely will use a sanding sealer, and then I'm guessing, the stain, with finally several coats of Nitro Cellulose. Is this right? Plus, I live in Canada, so does anyone have any idea where I could pick this stuff up?
Thanks guys...
