Too bad it's not playable.
What?

Those are really cool pictures... very nice!
I also was wondering about the light-back pollution in big cities, but as I can see, that's not a big issue.
I don't want to think anymore about this, otherwise I will end myself buying a telescope...
Thanks very much for showing us your creations, they're absolutely amazing.

Just move the bridge one inch backwards...

That bevel reminds me my last build, but I had a different angle all around the perimeter. It was the hell to get a fluid constant plane without hitting the contour limits. Also was specially hard to make a true flat bevel, so take it with calm, it looks easier than it is.

Like I said in the beginning, if Sarah's not happy with it, I guess I've got me a new mandolin.
If you want a mandolin you'll have to make another one.

shit, I can not give more likes today...

Looks fantastic, like all your shinny things.

Now I'm just wondering how can you take a clear picture of a galaxy while Hubble needed the Mt. Wilson observatory to discover them...
-
Well, I got shocked.., those are awesome shots.
I didn't know that you could reach so far away with a lens telescope... and yes, we need a photo of it. ^^
Thanks very much for the show, Really appreciated.

Do you need a huge telescope to get that nebula shot? I think is fascinating.., any chance to see more of them?
(Sorry for off-topic)

Paul Seller is the kind of grandpa I'd love to have.

That belly carve is quite inspiring...

Oh man, I didn't realise that. It must have been heartbreaking. Believe me, you won't be the only one upset by one of your stellar builds going south, man. I hope it didn't deter or knock you off your game.
Not at all, just too warm to build here and busy with other things. Regarding to the mistake, it was just a couple of mm, but in that area, that's too much. I minimized the issue a lil bit just replacing the bridge, but it was not enough.
It's that kind of mistake you never want to make again, and for sure I won't. Live and learn.

I could tatoo my head if necessary in order to have that drum sander,

I made a mistake when calculating the taper for the neck.
I made the same mistake in my last build, just realized while it was finished. Never again.

Stunning burst, as always...
... and, as always, I like the back more.

Looks great, I love the dying in the neck... that chip is totally fixable, it just need more time. If you've used nitro in the finish, it will be easier than you expect.
Hitting the guitar while polishing.., I don't think there's somebody here in the forum who never did it.

What style do you like? I realised most people like C shapes and like to hook the thumb over the neck. I myself have smaller hands and I like to play with the thumb right in the middle of the neck. It was how I was taught.
If you play with the thumb in the middle, maybe you should try asymmetric profile... or D shape, which is my favourite.

Looks great!... I honestly didn't expect very much from that piece of wood in terrible conditions you received, but you sir brought it to life in a couple of weeks. Very nice work, congratulations.

I really wished I had a drum sander, planer and a jointer to make life much easier!
Then we don't enjoy so much watching you suffering...
I like your builds with all the explanations, keep it up please!
