Looks good and like mentioned by others super clean, cool idea for the headstock.
-
Looks terrific, very interested in what those pups sound like passive. Can't wait to hear the clips.
Are you leaving the headstock like this or are you putting some kind of logo on it?
-
Wow this thing looks terrific. I too would love to hear it.

That sound good Philippe.

Looking good buddy.

I've recently purchased a '94 Epiphone Sorento with chrome dogear P90's. Great sounding guitar, with just one issue, something inside the pickups vibrates. This rattle is not amplified but at low volumes it does get a tad iritating. What could I do to fix this?
Thanks.

Thats a lovely sleek guitar you have there Scott.
-
Looks great Maiden. Might have missed it but what kind of neck or you putting on it?
-
Sorry to hear about the fire. How many guitars did you loose?
This sound like a great project, should be fun and a learning experience. Good luck and enjoy.

Very clean indeed, looks great and I can't wait to hear this beast.

That's quite the crazy looking Beatle Bass. Lovely headstock though.
-
Nice, although I am building them with a friend so I'm not tackeling two by myself.

This is looking really good.

It's been a while but we've done some more work on the basses. We glued the necks, which turned out really well. Plus we roughcut the wings, the hardware came in and had some practise routing in the proto.
Here's one of the necks.

Bass A, this is a real looker I must say. We arranged it so that the grain in the zebra and the fingerboard kind of blend into each other on the bass wing.
And bass B, the zebrano on this one couldn't be more different.
Enjoy and thanks,
Maurits.

That looks fab, lovely shape.

Thank you very much. The work is still in progress yes, although things are going a little slow now and we got a buggered truss rod from StewMac so we'll have to send that back which may take a while. I'll upload some new pics later today. Any ideas for the next build yet?

Most likely awesome

Looks very nice. The f-holes have a nice Taylor T5 vibe to them.
What about pickup rings?
-
Thought so, I'm currently also building a bass loosely based on the Emporer. They look traditional yet have an edge.
-
That looks super. Inspired by Fodera maybe?
-
Thats sweet looking, should be a good Prog-Rocker. What pickups are you putting in it?
-
Lovely looking horn.

Welcome Dave
Glad to hear things are looking good, would love to see those pictures.

Funny, combining an evolution with a jazzy one for the neck, quite a versatile guitar.
You could go for something like a Duncan SH-2 Jazz model.
