I love it, I'll have to get pics up of my other new hand wound machine. Phil what did you use to read the count, ive got a proximity magnet sensor that im gonna fit to my new Digi readout. I found that basic reed switches tend to stick/jump. You'll see some new designs coming in the new year. Robbie.

Hi All, Well my ordered ETS MK III Bridge has turned up, so I'll be cracking on with the bass over christmas. Also my coil winding machine has also arrived. I'll be custom winding my own pickups in the new year, so look out for them. Cheers, Robbie.

Hi Lads, Garry will be coming to get his bass tomorrow or tuesday night, Im gonna leave it up to him to do the soundclips.He has promised to have them done by next week, she sounds great with nice detail and lots of scope from the pre and MM pickup.Gonna start on the Japan order next week,maybe a wenge/purpleheart neck on this one! Hi All, Dan I dont know much about the fender pickups but the Delanos are great and I would go for them,they have so much detail and power with a modern twist on the sound.Good Luck! Yeah for sure,I used an SBC6 HE/S delano Pickup on marty's marseer fretless 6.the pickup is designed for fretless in mind and sounds great,so much detail.Get yourself one you wont be disapointed. Cheers, Robbie.

Cheers Lads, On this bass ive laid it on the bench and sprayed one side at a time,its been easier and the results are good,on the next bass im going back to the hanging up style with the KTM9 finish and dewaxed shellac sealer. Cheers, Robbie.

Hi guys, Things are coming together nicely on the bass,most of the hand sanding is done.Drilled out for the bridge and thru body stringing.The straplocks have been fitted also, About some of the questions asked by you guys,well weight wise this bass is a nice weight due to the lightness of the redwood top.Im guessing its gonna be around 7-8 lbs,for sure purpleheart and bubuinga are heavy woods but I just love the dark looking and sounding woods.
