I have a packing piece of MDF behind the neck blank and its covered in a teflon barrier which is non stick.It works real well.

Hi There, The bassculture pickup is great,it could do with a preamp maybe to boost the output.Overall its got a defined sound,very clear like Aero pickups.I would recommend anyone to try the bassculture stuff out.Im starting a custom 6 fretless in the new year,looking at putting either Aero K series pu's or delano pu's in the bass.I post up some pics soon Robbie.
