  2. Hi David ,

I love the Q tuner pickups, they are one of the best pickups I have used to date if not the best. They are so powerfull in passive mode and they have great definition across the range. I love the look of them also, I have never messed with the pole pieces as you can adjust them for a different sound. Komodo bud the bass is Danish Oil 6 coats and 4 coats of Wax, simple and looks great, the curly bubinga in the neck pops up!

Glad to see some of you guys like the Tapper Bass. It really is great to play, super low action for tapping but you can also play bass even with a 13mm spacing. Use a pick and it works as a Guitar also.

    Cheers,

    Robbie.

On another note, Im building a set for my work friend who runs the UK Garrison. http://www.501stukgarrison.com/ Some people might know about the upcoming Star Wars event at Excel in London (30 years Anv), Looks like Ive got access all areas passes for the weekend and I might also be going to Pinewood studio to build the set before the event. Im also hoping to meet Jeremy Bullock and a few other stars.

May the force be with you!

    Cheers,

    Robbie.

Ive heard back from my fretboard supplier and the wenge 36 inch scale board will be with me next week hopefully, due to the long wait on the fretboard I started to build my own fretsaw Jig. I will post pics next week, Im starting to build Jigs at work which will help me produce alitlle faster.

    Cheers,

    Robbie.

  6. Hi All,

Well we have a few coats of KTM9 on the bass now, waiting for my new spraygun to come in and I'll finish the bass with a few more coats before I flatten and buff out the finish.

  7. Hi All,

Well the bass is nearly setup now, got the preamp all sorted today and I'll be giving her a blast thru an amp tomorrow night to make sure everthing sounds right. I do some final tweeks then strip down for Dewax shellac sealer/KTM-9 clear coat.

I need to get a little amp at work me thinks!
