  1. Be careful buying from this kid you guys, he's rude, usury, and is the kind of person that will be trouble to deal with.

    Chris

So when you offer to help someone, then you get asked a question to show more of your work, and you avoid showing, and say "Nevermind" and im the rude one? Yea.

Anyone whos bought from me on Jemsite, Harmony central, etc will vouch for me. Just cause one idiot on these boards cant do inlay work thats not sloppy, dont bash me for it. Go cry to someone who cares.

  4. I meant blank fretboard as in no inlays in it anywhere already, slotted yes.

I wouldnt take my chance at routing an inlay myself, It would definately scare me too much on messing up, esp since I would like to do Maple, and i heard you can't fill it easily

Another query I had though, Lets say on an Ebony fretboard, normal dot inlays, Would it be possible to cover all the dots, and then inlay something in the 12th fret spot, maybe 11-13, by only removing those 2 frets? Do people do that; Take out 2 frets to inlay one spot, so you dont have to refret the whole guitar?

  5. Custom modded Ibanez RG350 from January 2002. I bought a blue pearl pickgaurd and TRC for it from Terrapin Guitars, along with two blue pearl Q-Part knobs. This costed a great deal of money, but makes the guitar into a two humbucker model.

It will come with all that stuff, a good hardshell case and I have 2 stock ibanez pickups (black) to send also with it if you want..

The guitar is in great condition other than afew paint chips, nothing barely noticable. The blue pearl pickgaurd does have abit of trouble with the screw placement, but it will go on fine if you leave off 3 of the screws.

GREAT PROJECT GUITAR, just needs abit of love

Looking for roughly $300 or so.. but open to offers.. Or if you have an Ibanez RG7620 or a Lo-pro7 maybe work out a deal

  6. I paid something like $80 after shipping from him... Mine also hasnt been used either so same difference.. But if you say so. I already got like 5 people interested over the past month, im sure I can sell it for this price.

actually talking over with someone today already about it, so obviously its not too high.

  7. This has to go, unfortunately I need money

Its the old sought after RG570 from early 90s before they moved to AANJ.. Very similar to Steve Vai Jem guitars in feel. This one particular has the Edge Trem (best trem alive) with some Stock dimarzio-ibanez factory pickups (they are not the high priced dimarzio's, the ones Ibanez got for their production models)

None of the pickups are wired up, actually the whole guitar is taken apart right now as I was going to just ebay the parts, but I will try one last time to try and sell the thing whole.. Losing money but I need money fast.

Comes in the hardshell molded Ibanez case (not the one in the pics, Unless you want that one, just a normal strat case)

Looking to get around $400 US shipped anywhere in North America for it

(also willing to trade for the following items, with cash)

    - Ibanez Edge 7 (lopro or pro)

    - Amber quilted laminate bass, preferably 5 string

  8. I have a question for you guys..

Im about to make my first guitar, and I was just curious about pickup location on the scale.. Does it really make a huge difference on the placement of them??

I am looking at using 27 frets, but I also want a neck hum... on a 26" scale. So will this be able to work with the neck pickup? I know people make a big deal about 24 frets sounding bad on the neck pickup because the neck pickup is back further...

    Anyone care to explain? Thanks

  9. Hello, thinking im gonna finally decide to go for it and try to build my own guitar (thru a neckblank)

Anyways, I need to buy a router for pickups/trems/etcetc... So I need to find a good one thats hopefully cheap, but strong enough to route a pickup and trem cavity..

I searched my stores and they used to have one on sale for $30 like afew months ago but I wasnt sure and passed, now I go back and its $100 =[[ So I was thinking about ebay.. Can anyone tell me if these would work for what I need it to do??

Im not saying exactly this one, but something like this??

    http://cgi.ebay.com/2-hp-Plunge-Router-HIG...1QQcmdZViewItem

What are the minimum requirements I would need to route pickups and a trem and such?? And what kinda bits would I need?

  10. Just a small stupid question.. Is tuner placement, holes dirlled in the headstock.. absolutely essentially need to be in a certain position? or can you just do as you wish and place the holes anywhere? I mean I know certain locations provide less strain on the nut, but for desiging purposes Im wondering if theres any exact locations they should be?

  11. Might of been the stuff I bought.. It was extremely cheap (like $10 for 27" by 15" or so... im skeptical about that) and it also had big black dots on it all over the place that didnt sand out (they wernt knots either, just bad spots)

If you are going to buy there, at least buy their top grade stuff, but then the price is still the same as everywhere else but shipping is way more. so choose the lesser of two evils I guess
